I sort of remember "back-in-the-day" CC targets were marked based on priority, not specific type of CC: based on what would break first.

While it generally turned out in our raids that polymorph was Star, and a second CC was usually Condom, and any third fourth and fifth things were the additional items as the raid leader saw fit. RL then just told people what to do on each pull until it became old hat so that if there were two polymorphs, or two shackles, or whatever, there wouldn't always be confusion...

For what its worth, VS raids don't tend to use Moon too much because its so far down on the selection list, and it isn't as easy to see on many of the backgrounds in-game...

I remember in Kara and Zul'Aman I pretty much wore the Condom on my head most of the time... I don't know what happened to that trend...

Speaking of which, don't ever let someone tell you moon is not sheep. This is misinformation put out by warlocks, who are after moon for themselves. When do you see a crowd controlled pull without a moon? DO NOT LET THEM HAVE THE GLORY OF THE MOON.

Well, far be it from me to dictate what symbols our illustrious raid leaders use for l'le ol' me and my cute little sheeps, penguins and snowy wabbits, especially if it's WWAAAAYY down on the "selection list". I will always follow orders to my best ability. But I did want you to know that "it is written," per Bashiok. And my eyes see just fine, thank you very much! (squints... rubs watering, red eyes as words and characters form images of the moon... or is that a condom?)

And, hey, that condom on Kaeryna's head the other night ALMOST saved me from sure death. But, alas... my own shortcomings killed me, and then killed me again, and again... ad infinitum. :eek:
