I saw a rumor on the forums of ethereal vendors in SW that would "re-skin" modify your armor's appearance. Could this be in the next patch? Anyone have a toon on the PTR's that can back this up? I would love to be able to modify the color of my armor. Tired of looking like an clown in leather ass chaps. That really does not instill fear or respect, unless you are afraid of clowns or asses.

I would like my armour to look like a chicken, or perhaps a cow; definitely not a llama.

This would be so fucking cool if they actually enabled this. "Hmmmm... Would I like to show off my pale skin tones with deep violet tones in my flowing robes today, or accentuate my breasts with... BREAST AUGMENTATION... I don't know... Or how about changing my crappy 346ilvl shoulders to look like those boss 359ilvl tier 11 spikey, magey-looking shoulders? Decisions, decisions..."

European gaming convention Gamescom is in full swing this week in Cologne, Germany. German entertainment site Gamona.de sat down with both Tom Chilton and Chris Robinson to discuss the details of the upcoming patch 4.3, the patch where your dreams come true. It was revealed that the patch will include:
- Deathwing's raid and three new 5-man dungeons
- Cosmetic armor skins (!)
- An armor closet to store old gear, freeing up bank space
As patch 4.3 will include Deathwing's raid, that probably means it will be the final patch in the expansion's overall narrative. If you doubted for a moment that Blizzard will announce the next expansion at this year's BlizzCon, doubt no more. We expect that these new 5-man dungeons will provide a new tier of heroics as well, pushing difficulty about Zul'Aman and Zul'Gurub.

I am having way too much fun with this!
Eosin shall wear these duds, the white recolor of the T6, or the original T6 I can't decide:
Trianna will have this, the purple recolor of the T2, but I will be wearing a wolf hat instead of the set hat:

A number of sets have been re-released with recolors. So, the same set "look," different stats, and sometimes easier to get because they come off dungeon bosses that have a less strict reset.
They aren't strictly a "set" in most cases, though because there's not a bonus associated to the recolor, only that they match. which for the purposes of transmog is probably the only thing that's important... unless you want the piece in the specific color.

The white recolor of the priest T6 still drops in BT/Sunwell, but they are pieces that drop off bosses and have no set bonuses.
Also, the Season 2 and Season 3 arena sets are pretty bitchin' too.
The problem with my priest is too many cool sets to choose from. The problem with my shaman is too few cool sets to choose from. Shaman tier sets are forgettable at best, fugly at worst.

Looks like you'll be able to buy old armor sets? Not sure how this is going to work, but I'm going to keep farming my own up until I know for sure.
