I think I'm gonna like our new amphitheater:
9/30/11 - Widespread Panic
10/14/11 - 3 Doors Down w/ Theory of a Deadman
10/16/11 - ZZ Top & Lynyrd Skynyrd

But this town has always been pretty good for bands, being a college town.
For 5 or 10 bucks cover in small venues, I've seen folks like R.E.M., Georgia Satellites, Alabama, Gin Blossoms, and there's always at least half a dozen local bands playing on the weekends, some pretty damn good.
Do you remember Atlanta Rhythm Section? ...Beers with the band afterwards.
Went to see the Jagermeister Girls one night on the strip and Zac Brown Band happened to be playing. Twofer.

I thought Alter Bridge was touring with Theory of a Deadman. I just picked up ABIII and it's definitely their best so far.
If they are on that bill too it might be worth going to for them alone.
