Hey everyone, I'm Kitynn and I'm new here, which I'm super psyched about because everything that I've heard and read about VS is amazing.

My boyfriend, Pewpewlazrs, and I joined together. I'll let him introduce himself, though. I'm a nanny in New Jersey, and have lots of time here when the baby is sleeping. Like now, heh. Online I'm an 85 gnome warrior, and I spend most of my time fishing. For a turtle. Seriously, I've caught 17,000 fish in Northrend pools, it has to drop eventually.

I usually manage to log on for an hour or two at night, and more on the weekends. Currently also prepping for my NaNoWriMo in November....so much work to do!

Hey all, I would just like to extend our thanks for having us in the guild and greatly appreciate the help, with questions and general guild knowledge, that Hatefuldead had already given me in-game. Now time for a bit of bio. Not the bathroom break. That would be awkward to do mid-post...

My toon is an 85 shaman named Pewpewlazrs and I tend to be on throughout the weekdays and weekends whenever I do not have homework or tasks to do. I go to college at the moment with my major being in Engineering Technology. Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, I live in San Antonio, TX at the moment. An answer to one question, yes, I will from time to time say "Y'all". Being a bit of a nerd, I love, and will try, any and all RTS/RPG/online (CCS, CommConq, WC3,etc.) games along with a one select card game, Magic. In contrast, I love clubs and use to go clubbing after I turned 18, and one of my goals is to take Kitynn to one and have her not be afraid to dance :p (Sorry, hon!).

Thank you all again for allowing Kitynn and myself to join the VS family. I plan on having a lot of good memories while being here! :D

What's really amazing here is that a search of the forums revealed 19 seperate threads containing 'poopsock'.

By the way, we admitted them mainly due to the fact that someone has to catch 10,000 more fish for the guild. The rest was just gravy ;)

Poopsock is only one of many VS lore items. Cold and distant comes to mind as another.

In Twilight Highlands there's a larger area you have to cover, and the guppy pools only spawn in the river, correct? Although it is more profitable to fish there, so I really should consider making the switch.

Guppy pools also spawn in the lake above the waterfall. If you can get there early in the AM or late at night, you can fish the hell outta the lake, the pool at the base of the falls and the river.

The only reason he's not caught that many fish is that he watches all of his taped copies of Glenn Beck's show and misses the bobber-bob. Otherwise he'd probably have well over 50K catches. He's a good chap though.

Everyone else ain't really worth a damn, including me. I should say especially me.

For the fishing, also try Deepholm, in the Crimson Expanse where you do some of the Therazane dailies. (Fungal Behemoths and Verloks abound.) Lots of pools there (but you do have to deal with that red miasma shit if you're not on the rock/wall side), and you can catch Lavascale Catfish, which sell for a decent amount on AH and are used in the raid/party buff food, along with Albino Cavefish and Striped Lurker (trash fish, unless you're trying to get the guild cooking cheeb, which we already have).

So, as an update for those who don't already know, I CAUGHT MY TURTLE!!!! In uldum, actually. I was desperate for a change of scenery, and caught it in the first pool. About 18,500 fish in, I think.

In other news, my next project is to get my vial of sands. I'm just 5k gold and 22 pyrite ore and I think 30 volatiles away. Something like that. If anyone has a true gold cd and sees me on (I work until late, but am on at night), let me know!!
