If you want to try and find hotel + flight combinations, look for a hotel near me - 10 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON. If price is no object, then I suggest the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel, which is conveniently located across the street from me. There are nicer hotels in the city but that one is just great because of the proximity to me. Let me know if you want advice on other hotels.

Canada's Wonderland will be August 23, so arrive from the night before if you want in on that action.

Post here with your flight dates + times when booked so I can try to coordinate airport pickups!

Hmm, you're only 1009 miles away, maybe I'll drive. I would like to stop at the big falls on the way up. OK 1056 miles if I take that side of the lake. What's the parking like in the T of O?

BTW, I approve of the whole itinerary except for the edgewalk.... I'll stay just inside and cheer you on. There's no freaking way I'm doing that.

I can probably get you a visitor pass for parking in my building. If you make it to Niagara I would be happy to meet you there and bum around for a day!

I'm not much for long drives. I am thinking about taking two days to get to Niagara, resting, then doing the falls thing the next morning of the 22nd, then driving into Toronto that evening.

Parking: That would probably save a few bucks so now I'm interested in one of the rooms in your building. Suite would be good...Rastus is my old roommate and may split it with me. Pull out couch is fine if I have a frig for my beer. :)

And company/guide for the falls would be awesome.

Just bumping this to remind people to start the passport process and to keep your eyes open for cheap flights. Also, please confirm regarding your accomodations. Rastus/Amonsul - please advise if you do want the large suite as I will have to pay when I book it. C-Rob and Trianna are taking another suite, so that leaves one suite available.

It would be great if you could all RSVP here so I can keep an approximate list of who all is planning to attend. And please advise if you want to do Wonderland and/or the Edgewalk.

My plans are still very much in flux, although I will almost definitely make it. I'm not sure if I'll be sharing a room with Amon, or whether my girlfriend will come with me to experience the insanity. I will be sure to update as soon as I know anything.

Book the suite w/kitchenette. I'll cover it. Can you book it for the nights of the 21st - 26th. Thinking about coming on in the 21st and getting up and doing the Canada side of Niagara falls the morning/early afternoon of the 22nd.

Also, my passport book and card turn around time was about 3 weeks. :)
Running by the health department for a copy of my birth certificate and across town to the federal court house to apply only took about an hour that day. Wow.

Ah, good reminder. I'll have to remember to put in for vacation on those dates when I get to work on Friday.

I am booking my guest suites today! I have to pay now but we can cancel 72 hours prior to the reservation. If anyone else is interested, I have one suite left. I'll probably just book it anyway and then adjust the dates as needed.

I am booking the 3 rooms for Trianna & C-Rob, Amonsul, and Frenial. The room that Amonsul has can take one more but I think it may be pushing it to have you and your lady friend stay with him... or maybe not? ;)
