Hey guys, I noticed in my introductory thread that I'm not the only one participating in NaNoWriMo this month. If you're interested, I'd love to be your writing buddy so we can pressure and guilt each other into writing. I mean...motivate...in a totally helpful way...yeah. Alas, I am not. I was encouraging my dad to participate, but I don't have yet the courage. I do follow The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge on Twitter (@BayBridgeSF) and he is participating. Perhaps you can tweet some support his way. Now if only we can get Karl the Fog to start writing. He has such an ethereal style...

I think you and I might be the only ones doing it? I've known about it for years, but this is the first year I've had a pretty solid idea that I WANT to write - one that has a beginning, a middle and an end and doesn't quite ramble around...

By the way, Lushy, Trent got written in the novel. My main character has a cat, and I needed a name. I wrote him in and then realized that my main character is away from her apartment for... well the rest of the novel. So I had to input a scene going to get him and making him part of the adventure! So let him know he's going to do marvelous things!
