OK so here we go... going to set up a second poll with just a couple of options this time so we can try to pick a date that works for the most people.

I have chosen these weekends because they do not interfere with school (for those with kids) and they are not on long weekends (so prices should be better) and I avoided Caribana (which is a totally annoying weekend to spend in this city).

I can do any of those dates and I still want to come.

I didn't click weekend 3 because it's pretty clear that my kids will be back in DC and in school by then, and it's very close to DragonCon (my kids might also be back weekend 2, but they haven't yet announced the first day of school for next school year). However, if that's the best weekend for other people, I could most likely make it work.

Same disclaimer applies. My kids will be back in school by then, but I am a semi long shot so don't base your plans on me.

Soooo...Decision? I checked prices from Memphis, and there is no difference in price for the 3 weekends. But they are creeping up and I'd like to snag tickets while they're still reasonable. Not making the same mistake I did this year.

I think we'll try to do Canada's Wonderland on the Thursday so if you want in on that, fly in from the night before (i.e. the 22nd). I figure some people might not be interested in that so I want to do it at the beginning. If you want to stay longer, by all means, go ahead and book a longer trip. There is lots to do in the city!
