I know I'm invading your man-space here, but wtf does that acronym (???) stand for, Fox? Secret guy code or somethin'? (Inquiring female minds want to know.)

Thanks, Brendar!!! That made it soooo easy! (I still say it was slightly smart-assy, though.) I guess I learned MY lesson, eh? Never ask VSers a question that could have even a remote possibility of being stupid. *hangs head in shame* And Sapphyre's response was "nicer." :-P

So, I guess this is cousin to all those saying, like, "Nevada. Where the men are men and the sheep are nervous."

It was in reference to the video Killian linked right before my comment. :)

Yeah, that's a totally passive-aggressive thing to do, and I'm totally not like that, but I do have an infatuation with that site.

Maligner lives in Texas, and he is worried about cock cancer from fucking cows.

EDIT: Mal's avatar is a horse with a perm...

Logic dictates that if you are from Texas, you are worried about dick cancer, and your avatar is a horse with good hair...you have a stump in the bed of your truck

You're trying too hard.

Plus, I'm from Indiana and in New Mexico.

I am truly, truly sorry for the New Mexico part. No one should have to live here, even for a short assignment.

Yeah...you are right. Are there Gila Monsters in NM?

I'm in Roswell. Are you close? If so, I'll meet you at der Vienerschnitzel.

You know there probably are. I've not made it out into the desert proper. Supposed to be scorpions if you're not careful (and I mean in your house) but I think the cold weather is helping me out. I've got about 12 glue traps through-out and all I've caught are a few roaches and one centipede. There's a smudge on the kitchen floor that was here when I moved in that I realized just last week has legs sticking out and was a scorpion.

The landlord (who is super nice) says they have professional pest treatments done but this many roaches makes me wonder. I've taken things into my own hands. No, I mean about the pesticides! Sprayed the area yesterday so I am hoping for fewer pests. Also, roaches are the meat of scorpions so having them will draw scorpions in.

sadly, it seems to be a way of life. we get our house sprayed as well, but the roaches still get in. the only upside is that they're mostly dead by the time they get there. the bad part is they crawl into dark places, so sometimes you'll find a dead one - in your shoes, under a laundry basket, etc. we're up in ABQ, so no scorpions here. more down south, so i hear. but hopefully you'll be ok with the weather. if not, send it to pils.

also, gila monsters seem to be a Texas thing

The Giant Gia Monster eh? For a second there, I thought that was a porn link.

Hmmm...

Roaches lead to scorps. Centipedes also...are they the bigass ones?

I have always wanted a giant centipede...fascinating.

Perhaps I should visit NM and capture everything I need.

No, it's small. I'd say maybe a little longer than an inch. I tried to take a picture with this crappy camera and it's all fuzzy.
