There was a discussion about LFR bosses and loot last night in the raid.

I was reading an article about the bans to Paragon and their ilk for exploiting loot rules on LFR, and I saw some comments from people that DID win two pieces of loot on the same boss. So it looks like it isn't based on item, but per "looting."

Ya, 2 from a boss is fine.


These guys were going in with full 25 man groups, with one character that hadn't done LFR yet. They were then disconnecting before looting the boss. When they returned they were able to trade the loot to anyone in the raid. They geared up in full sets on the first day. They deserved the 72 hour bans they got.

I just meant we had some discussion about if you rolled on two items on the same boss whether it would give them to you or whether the first one counted as your loot and the second one would be given to someone else.

As far as the exploits are concerned, I only mentioned it because it set the stage for me seeing people talking about the actual result of the theoretical situation we were talking about.

I read about this. There's always some jerk that fucks it up for the rest of us. Now the loot rules are probably going to get even more tight. I hope not, but it wouldn't surprise me if the people who don't cheat are punished because of the jerks. Sucks.
