Was there a game last night?

Yes but kind of boring because LSU didn't seem to want to cross mid field and play on our end.

You know, I was going to delete this thread this morning because I thought it was a political thing. Then I Googled 'Bama and realized it has to do with sport. :p

BLOODY PEASANTS! Besides Sapph...I have forsaken any thought of religion or politics. Now football is a different animal.

Wait wait...let me qualify that for all you haters...American Football.

Football is, in a way, more sacred than religion or politics depending on the audience.

I saw some of that game (had it on while some friends were over playing Dominion) and it was pretty boring but I'm really not trying to hate. I also saw some of the first meeting and it was more boring.

I'd have to say that running an offensive play on 4th and 18 with 6+ minutes, three timeouts and only down 2 scores was the stupidest thing I've seen in a long time. Based solely on that one decision/play, watching even a second of that game was a head scratcher.

I don't know that much about the teams and the few lines I read from Bobby Hebert a little bit ago echoed something that passed through my mind last night.

I didn't care who won either. I do admit I am biased against college sports in general as inferior entertainment as well as the NCAAFB sports writer voted "championship" system that I've never bought into.

That's what I said about the game too, right before I turned it off.

At first I thought I was watching a rematch of the first snooze-fest.

You know, I posted this thread for Necro, Eye, and the crew from Tuscaloosa.

But I get nothing but negativity and I am tired of that; so I am done with the boards.

Sorry Pils. My comment was a shot at LSU's offense and kudos to our defense.

I watched all of that game but I'm just not a big football fan. Also being in Tuscaloosa, I get Alabama football for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 365 days a year so it kinda wears thin.

Anyway, congratulations to the Crimson Tide and to the state for 3 consecutive national titles.

The rest of the the posts seem to have a jealous aura about them. "Snooze-fest" is a term for the best defenses in the nation I guess. :)
