...love watching The Bachelor and The Biggest Loser, even though I know that it's all staged, and that they're all trying to make money, and that I'm supposed to be way too intelligent and down-to-earth to spend 4 hours of my already busy week watching both shows.
Or that I think Justin Bieber's "Baby" is an amazing song.
The other day in /g I mentioned how Pew loves Selena Gomez's music, and a few people agreed. (Im, I mean you!) Anybody else have semi-embarassing guilty pleasures? Or even not so guilty? I'm looking for connections, laughs, and especially inspiration! Bonus points for all three.

I like Nickelback. I wouldn't say I love them or they are my favourite band or anything, but I do like some of their songs and own a couple of their albums.
I also like Creed even though I know Scott Stapp is a jerk.

I'm a 47-year-old lawyer with two kids who spends much of his free time playing WoW. Isn't that enough guilty pleasure?
(No? OK, I also go through phases where I listen to a lot of Yes.)

I do not like Selena Gomez. That song is an earworm, however, and it followed me all through the holidays.

Oh, um, oh. Sorry. Edit to my post: Im sometimes gets one of her very catchy songs stuck in her head. Pew, on the other hand, puts it on re-pea-pea-pea-pea-peat. (Couldn't resist that one.)
Also, Sapph, I understand the mixed emotions about artists who may be talented, but not good people. Chris Brown ticks me off, and I feel a little guilty when one of his songs comes on the radio and I find myself humming along. So catchy. Okay, so Chris Brown's track record isn't exactly comparable to Scott Sapp's, but the point is I do feel a conflict of interest when he comes up. However unjust that might be.

Can I do one for Im? It's not embarrassing, it's more awesome - she appears to know all the lyrics (and can sing them, she's said) the theme songs from a lot of 80's and 90's cartoons. We were talking about the Wuzzles, I believe, and she said she had the song stuck in her head.

Wednesday, May 2nd, 6:00 pm. Philips Arena, Atlanta GA.
Nickelback, Bush, Seether and My Darkest Days. Nice.
Anyone? Bueller?
I'd buy your ticket to be able to crash on a couch for a few hours. (Perseous, Dalwin)
Or I'd buy your ticket to split a room and taxi.
Rock and roll!
And BTW following the thread... I'm hooked on some Shinedown music atm. Nice vocals.

Okay, I listen a lot of 80's music... Yes, Ah-ha, Flock of Seagles, etc.... This from an AC/DC, Metalica type. I also enjoy watching Fineas and Ferb when my kids watch it.

That show is hilarious! And Richard O'Brien, creator of Rocky Horror (and Riff Raff), voices the Dad.

OMG, I was just saying I was enjoying some Shinedown lately and wouldn't you know it....They will be in Huntsville, AL with Chevelle, at the Von Braun Center (yes, he actually was a rocket scientist) only a 2 hour drive, wanna see them.
BUT it's on May 2nd....the SAME day as the Nickelback, Bush, Seether and My Darkest Days concert in Atlanta. (3½ hour drive) SON OF A BITCH!
I'm so conflicted now!
