I woke up Sunday deciding to think positive...it has rained for two days, a tree broke my fence, my land line is down, and I have no HBO.

It's sad that I don't booze during the week.

I hate rain, too. In fact, I hate all water. I took a shower some time Saturday and was so disgusted after, I vowed that I wouldn't shower again until Tuesday. I may have to break down and shower to night because after playing in the sandbox today, I have sand in my bra. Almost made it.

Pils, I'm doing what I can. I'm praying to the God of Abraham, Jesus, Mother Mary, Allah, Muhammad, Buddha, Native American Spirits and any other deity or saint I can think of to bring that rain over to us.

We have not had any measurable amount of rain here in over a month and record temps the past three days. No heat index and they were 102, 103 and 102. Jeez! We still have July and August to get through. This time of year I both love and hate you Canucks. (It's a temperature jealousy thing.) Robot Fren's fault.

I work outside so it's been so much fun. Upside is I'm the boss, so I can just ride in the golf cart smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee while making sure my guys don't stroke from heat exhaustion.

Sorry about the fence. Trees can be cruel.

WOW, there is a great deal of gratuitous nudity and banging of private body parts and that was just season one. I may have to watch the rest of them.

I agree with Pils re: Jessica. We just finished catching up- I have to say by season 5, nekkid vampires are the only thing really keeping my attention. And there is A LOT of sex in Season 4. Also, after watching for weeks straights, I have to consciously stop myself from calling women "Hooker" at work ala Lafayette.

As for the rain, if you hate rain, why do you live in Florida? Shouldn't you move to Arizona?

Or better yet, Cabo San Lucas. They get about 1" of rain per year if they are lucky.

Season 5 kicks ass so far....

And Jessica is the best thing that ever happened to the show.
