I don't know if anyone else is playing the new guild wars 2 mmo, but i am on Ehmry Bay playing as Pragus if anyone wants to join me.

How are you liking it so far? From what I have been seeing it looks like alot of fun to play. IT would seem the casual nature of the game would appeal to V.S.ers. I plan to pick it up after a few patches, let you guys open beta test it for me and all.

Anyway, impressions?

I am liking it alot. It has alot of features that lend to casual gaming. Like resource nodes only dissapear for you after you harvest them, but are still there for every other player to harvest until they do. So, there is no competition. Kills are the same way. Loot generated is for you and you alone. Nobody else sees what you got even in partys. XP for a kill is not taken from you if other players lend a hand either. I moved my character to The tarnished coast server if anyone else is playing.

Widget, if you want me to try to save a charcter name for you on this server i have several slots open still.

Twist, Berg and I are all playing on Ferguson's Crossing. I am loving this game! The artwork is gorgeous, the underwater sections will blow your mind! It's a ton of fun!

Apparently everyone is out of stock on serial codes. I called my local gamestop and they sold out of all but the collectors edition. I will try at some point to get it, the engineer looks like alot of fun and well with a name like Widget it just kinda fits don't it? :)

Would you like me to try to reserve a name for you? I warn you now that names are hard to get because instead of server wide they're game wide. On the bright side you can have spaces and such in your name. I saw one guy called The Lord God. Seriously. :/
I had to call my ranger Oriole North and my Guardian Hawk Owl. The only bird name I really got is Whimbrel. :)

Also, Oriole's pet raven *lands when I stop running and takes off again when I start.* It looks so awesome! :D

Finally got a code from best buy. I wasn't able to create a toon on either of your servers as they were marked full. I am on Devona's Rest as an asura engineer named Widget Gizmo. Once we can all decide on a server for VSers, I'll transfer when I can.

Gotta say, I'm only a couple hours in but I am having a blast.

Fergesons crossing server is full. I will try to transfer my character to Devona's rest, and give a shout to widget. It doesnt cost anything to move a character to a different server right now.

Sweet! I'll talk to Twist and Berg and ask them if they're up for a transfer. Might as well do it now while it's free.

Well, Twistle doesn't care which server we're on but I haven't been able to get a hold of Berg yet. I'll keep you posted.

OK, im kinda glad were on a lower volume server atm since its all people starting out at the same time as I am. I never have a problem finding people for events. I hear that the higher poup servers are almost always in overflow when you move to a new zone.

I'll keep an eye on the forum.

Honestly, it doesn't really matter. Overflow has events too. It's just like the main server. The only trick is if you're in the overflow and in an event it's a good idea to stay in the overflow till the event is done. If you switch to main you might find that the event that you're doing isn't going on in the main server.

I've spoken to everyone in our little guild. That's basically Me, Twist, Berg, and Berg's friend Wuffles. We're fairly sure we're going to switch servers. I'm still trying to get a hold of Berg. Apparently he's having phone trouble :(. I hope the server doesn't fill up! Sorry it's taking so long!

NO it's cool. I am loving this game. The story missions are fun, questing is not a chore. The most simple thing ion the world idea of making all loot and creatures your own is just such an amazing comcept. I think we can, as a society, blame MMOS for the me for me and otherwisecrappy attitudes in our current youth. I have met so many nice, ill help ya out people in this game, it's just such a nice change.

I still love my raven that lands when I stop running. I was just so used to WoW's every-hovering birds. The flying pets in this game are so dynamic. I just wish he was a bit hardier. I'm looking for an owl or something. Maybe a hawk.

They opened up their website today for serial #s again so I snagged one. Downloading tonight, hopefully try it tomorrow.
