I was never really angry towards the dragons until this very instance...I was in Windhelm "procuring" items for Vex and Delvin; of course a dragon pops up in the middle of a driving snowstorm. Well this was a strafing Frost Dragon and I do not possess dragonrend yet; so I just patiently sniped away with my Nightingale Bow. In the middle of this battle, up walks this lost dog; so I tell the dog to go home that it should not be up on a mountain in a snowstorm while I am fighting a dragon. So the dog happily starts off down the mountainside...well that motherfucking dragon...AFTER I spared its ass and just rode it around a bit to show it who was the boss...that fucking dragon killed the lost dog. I am somewhat partial to dogs...even virtual ones. Now all those fucking dragons will pay...even the good dragon that teaches the thu'um. DEAD.

How rude.
Dragons dead everywhere. Dead Vampire Lords. Dead former Dragonborns.
Don't fuck with a Dragonborn's dog.

It's almost like a scene out of Silverado.

Great movie, that one.
"Today my jurisdiction stops here..." "But Sheriff, he hasn't hit anyone!" "He Has hit everything that he shot at, you buffoon."
I also made sure that Dogmeat never EVER died in any Fallout.
Clint Eastwood's dog in Josey Wales...never dies...gets tobacco juice spit at it, but never dies.

Got Wales on the tube right now. Tried to watch it with my neighbor the other day and he wasn't interested. I need a new neighbor.

How in the HELL can someone living in the great state of TEXAS not like "The outlaw Josey Wales?"
Must be a Communist or something.
What are tax rates like in Texas? We pay 7.5% sales tax here in Tallahassee, but have no state income tax. How much is a gallon of gas?

He is strange, that one. He's a nice guy but I can't figure him out. He also doesn't like sausage, beer or shrimp. Worse than a Commie. I don't really know if he didn't like it, didn't get it or was just bored. Any way you slice it I was befuddled. I did my best, spouting such knowledge that the movie was nominated for and won several Oscars and was considered a Western classic. Also let fly that it was directed by Clint. Didn't even make a dent.
There is no Texas income tax here either. Sales tax is 6.25% but can be raised as high as 8.25% by the local municipality, which gets the other portion. Here in Houston, it's 8.25%.
I came from Indiana and my wage went up over 30% for the exact same career. Groceries are cheaper here too. We just bought a house we had built and it was $161k for a little over 2600 square feet, 3 baths and 5 bedrooms so housing is cheaper than Indiana too. Finally, we have space! Not a big fan of the purported 6 millions metropolitan area population, which doesn't even include where I live. Counting all the suburb sprawl, I think it's nearer 10 million.
I didn't see gas price last couple of days since I get gas about every 10 or so days. http://www.houstongasprices.com/Katy/index.aspx says about $3.40 and up. I live very near many of the stations listed.

This post makes me want to cry.
I take home just a hair over 50% of my gross pay, and sales tax is 9%. I pay $2300/month rent for a 2-bed 2-bath 1200 square foot apartment- I'll never own a house here. If you can even FIND a 5-bed house, it will probably be at least $1.5M. I paid $4.09/gallon filling up my tank this morning, which I thought was pretty good but apparently I could have gotten it 20 cents cheaper closer to my office.
The guns I may or may not own are totally illegal in ONLY this state and as is their right in accordance with State law, my county sherriff's department does not issue concealed carry licenses. At all. Period.
This in exchange for living smack in the middle of one of the most vibrant cultural and entertainment areas in the country, an exciting, highly competitive and highly skilled job market, and surrounded by great natural beauty where its 72 degrees and sunny 300 days a year.
Fun for now, but I'm not staying.

Don't get me wrong about Houston, I don't think it's Xanadu but it's got a lot of great stuff; Houstonians swear by it. The only thing I swear by is the Texas Renaissance Festival http://texrenfest.com/ which I again invite everyone to go to, and even that I go to only once a year because we starve ourselves for spending cash trying to be financially responsible.
We do get a lot of sunshine, but it's really hot when it's hot out. I think 2 years ago we had over 100 straight days of 100 or higher temps.
