Funny story.

10 years ago I started playing WoW with the good folks of this guild. I am not sure if anyone is still around from those days but this site and this forum I've checked on sparingly throughout the years.

Fast forward to present day, I decided to get back into WoW with the pending WOD release so I figured I would create some new toons and go from there. I assumed my former account in which I had no idea what the email or account name even was, was long gone. I remember hitting the level cap at 60 and quitting. Sometime well after I quit I got a message from Amanda that my character "Afflack" was running around iron forge naked. I didn't play anymore so I did nothing about it, I just figured I was hacked and that was that.

I knew getting my account back would be a long shot, figured it had been deleted and was long gone I still put in a ticket to try to track this bad boy down. Well, after several days and several conversations with blizzard (my wife thinks I am crazy going through all this for a character I hadn't played with in ten years) we finally tracked down Afflack and all of my alts.

It's funny and exciting finding something that you thought was gone ten years ago. Afflack is alive and very naked, he has no gear, no daggers, nothing. However, what I have noticed is that I have a level 73 Death Knight named Oomathryn. I have no idea where or how he came to be but he is now in my account.

Just thought I would share and let me know if anybody still plays, would love to get the band back together even if it is with a bunch on new faces.

While I don't date back 10 years, I just dusted off my account and am downloading right now. I happened to be in Anaheim this week, so just happened upon BlizzCon. Literally, I was walking down the street, looked to the left, and saw the BlizzCon banners on Thursday. Or maybe it was Wednesday. Anyways, seeing that there made me long for WoW again. So, I'll be on again sometime in the next few days, trying to figure out how to play the damned game again.

Yes, I have eleven toons named Frenial; I wanted to use Agnes, but Blizz told me that the name Agnes has a permaban due to a preponderance of creepy stalkers using it.
