God knows I've been missing you guys and there is a special place in my heart for all of you.   I hope you are all doing well.  What games have you been playing?  I kinda miss Canada.....Is that wrong for a Alabama boy to say?

Good ol' Rastus and freaking Pilsner!  It's almost like coming home again!

Good news:  
I have been promoted at work to where I am ten times busier than before.  Over all grounds and building maintenance, housekeeping, vehicle fleet, recycling, two campuses, 200 acres and about 100,000 square feet of building space.........   On call 24-7 and they even pay for two different phone lines and a linc I must carry all the time.  Lots more money but by God I am earning it!  
That brown spot on the wall behind my chair?  That's where the shit that rolls downhill stops.


Here comes the down side.  I don't mean to bring you down but maybe I just need to vent somewhere.
  
Lost mom New Year Eve after four months of surgeries, rehab and hospice care.  Dad is 87, holding on but so very weak.  Younger sister has been retired on disability for several years now, lives with him.  I run to the pharmacy and grocery store for them all the time.  And that's another yard and house I have to upkeep.   

Just got news today on big sister(my closest sibling).  She has metastasized cancer and a prognosis of anywhere between 18 months to 6 years.  It's at a point to where we are desperately hoping it is lymphoma with a possibility for a cure (not likely).  We should have more information in the next three weeks.

It is what it is.  We can only deal with it and fight.

Sorry to hear about all that bad family news. They're lucky to have you there to support them, but I know it's gotta be rough on you. Hang in there, man!

Sorry to hear the bad news.. I really don't know you very well, but if you need someone to vent to, feel free to send me a PM. I have been through a fair bit over the last few years and sometimes it helps just to have someone to tell, even when you both know there is nothing anyone can say or do that will really help all that much.

I'm very sad for you Amon. Stress is a major problem for me anymore, and I avoid it so you are describing a nightmare such that I can't imagine what you are going through. Positive waves and prayers coming your way.
