OK... first off, thanks Killian for letting me post a couple things again!
Quick recap... I have 2 bands on the go right now.... one is all original and really heavy... and the other....
Involves guys I've known over 15 years. The bass player and I are best friends and have been for years and are really serious about playing music. The drummer and guitarist, while both incredibly talented are not quite as serious as Scott and I. (This may or may not have to do with the fact that they have serious careers right now)
Anyway, we started out playing rocked-out funk covers (Sly and the Family Stone, and Prince) and Funky rock covers (NIN /w a verse from C&C Music Factory). Recently we've been putting all our energy into writing our own material and we're all really excited about it.
On October 2nd we played a fundraiser for a friend of mine. It was a small restaurant/Bar, the guitar and bass amplifiers were not further amplified and the only mic-ed drum was the bass. The vocals and bass drum were coming through 2 speakers the size of my computer monitor... but surprisingly.... the mp3s I made from the show turned out really well.
I've been trying to get my drummer to update our website, but he has been doing something called "law school" or something like that and hasn't had any time.
These are 2 of our 5 original songs:
Look The Other Way
Untitled
(That's Scott's voice at the beginning... he was talking to our old drummer/friend who was in the audience... I'm not sure if you'll notice but the time signature in this one is pretty bizarre)

Changed my mind.... I wasn't going to post this one because I think we can play it better.
But I think this is our best song when we do it right... and I'm really happy with the lyrics and the harmonies.
I'll Not Go
Hit a wall but we land on our feet
Weâll do this differently
I lost the words but I have a feeling
That you donât wanna be
Staying this low
That was what you told me
Still I donât know
If its that easy
Here we go
Iâll follow
So close that we both lead
And I know
Iâll not go
Anywhere without you
Lost a year but we donât miss a beat
Wrote stories separately
May have changed to the others around
You never changed to me
Say if youâre low
Iâve got your back for you
I owe you one
You had my back for me
Here we go
Iâll follow
So close that we both lead
And I know
Iâll not go
Anywhere without you
You were there when I had my first time
For almost everything
Seen it all and we know a critique
Is not what we will need
So when weâre low
I can tell you anything
And I only knew
When you told me everything
Here we go
Iâll follow
So close that we both lead
And I know
Iâll not go
Anywhere without you

No speaker / headphones here at work today so I'll have to check them out when I get home.

Totally diggin' Look the Other Way. Something about your music lightens a mood.
Thanks Fox!

Damn cool, Fox! Look the Other Way is my fav. They all sound great!! Let us know when you're playing New England. I'd pay a cover charge to hear ya. =)
Sounds great! Sounds a little Mike Patton-esque and that is always a good thing.

Thanks guys... and thanks for that Lux... he's one of my favorites.
He opened for Tool with Tomahawk last time I saw them, and My other band covered Ashes to Ashes by Faith No More at a Hallowe'en party.

I've had a mad crush on him ever since I was 15 so...rock on! ;)
