I thought Argent Dawn was a low pop realm...why am I sitting in a huge queue all of a sudden? Grrr...

it's always been a high pop, which changed to medium pop, which has now become 'full'.

that's the saga of AD.

Excellent! Our queues are going to get worse.

I say we pool our money together and hire ourselves a couple of Koreans....

The queue has been so ridiculous. I hope to god it doesn't get any worse. We'll be logging in in the morning and then playing at night. :p

Argent Dawn is full. These queues are insane. It took me an hour and 30 mins to log on last night. I've been playing on this server since day 1 and I have no interest in rolling a new character on a new server. Is there any word on when we're going to be allowed to transfer characters?

Character transfers from realm-to-realm are occasionally available for limited times, from specific high population realms to predetermined low population realms. These windows of availability are subject to change, often on short notice. Customized realm-to-realm transfers are not available at this time. We are aware of the demand for such a feature, and we do have plans to offer a fee based character transfer service in the future. Currently we do not have a time frame on when this will be available or additional information; such as prices for this service. At least they didn't tell you "this feature is working as intended"

James was so sure his answer would infuriate that he neglected to leave his last name.

that response seemed automated. Like there are little Koreans sitting somewhere looking for key words in problem tickets so they can cut and paste pre-worded responses.

The whole thing is scripted! The key is to have the scripts delay a reponse and put just enough typos in the email to make it seem authentic.

Just like when you petition in game, the scripts will record your petition and wait until 5 mins after you log and reply with 'Sorry we couldn't contact you while you are online.. if you are still having problems please visit the website."

They opened up a new RP server today. Maybe one day they'll let us move there.

In addition, we will be opening another round of character transfers next week to allow the four PvE realms listed below to transfer to a newly created realm. We'll post details on the upcoming transfers early next week.

So... are we moving or staying and hoping everyone else moves?

If it's a normal, non-RP server then I say we jump ship like rats off the Titanic.
Otherwise it makes no difference to me.

If it's a normal move, then count me in as a rat.

We're jumping. When the official word comes down from Blizzard with the name of our destination, I'll fire off emails to everyone.

how does that work anyway... we take all of our characters or only one can go or how does that WORK anyway?!?

From what I understand, we fill out a form on the WoW site listing which characters we want to move and probably giving alternative names in case our name is taken on the new server.

I am moving all of my characters.

Well whats the logic here? Hang tight because everyone will jump off this server? Or jump to server that everyone else is going to jump to?

AD has a lot of large guilds and I don't see them jumping. And a lot of the RPers won't be jumping. We're moving. Pack your bags.

Look here for the character move FAQ. Do read it! I'll be transfering guild leadership to a new alt so that I can move Kundera. Once we are all moved, I'll disband the guild and we'll reform on the new server.
