Yes, I'm back, in a way. Just a quick post to let you all know... I finally tried WoW... and it is so amazing I almost punched myself in the face.

I'm currently on another server but Killian has convinced me to create a new char on Argent Dawn when I have a second...which may be awhile, inasmuch as I'm moving in two days. But I will soon, I swear it.

Haha... well, I said I'd start a character and I haven't yet... let's just say it's been an... erm... EVENTFUL holiday!  Also, I finally moved into my new LOFT-STYLE SPLIT-LEVEL apartment... With a DISHWASHER!!! Sure, I sound pathetic, but if you had moved from a place as awful as my old one into this place, you'd be delirious too. ;) Anyway, point being, I'll be starting up a new char on AD as soon as I can... but I notice it's full a lot?

It is full a lot and we'll probably be moving but don't worry about that now. Go ahead and roll one up on AD. They'll eventually allow us to move servers for free so we'll do some heavy coordinating when that day comes.

Every damn time I try to log onto Argent Dawn to start up a new char, it's full! What the beans?!

Anyways, I also want to ask about Talent Points. I was a moron when I got my first two talent points and used them unwisely. an anyone give me tips on the usage of talent points? I've sort of been using them here and there with no real purpose because I have no idea what my goal is. Help?

(I'm a lvl 15 Tauren shaman now.)

do what you can with the points you get until you find yourself dying very very fast or you reach level 40. Then respec (it gets more expensive the more times you do it, so that's why I recommend waiting as long as you can). The longer you wait, the more you'll learn about your class and what you might want to get out of your talents. You can reset your points at any trainer, but I think the first time it costs 1g.

I screwed up all of my characters talents in the beginning. As you play, you'll figure out where you need the help.
