Breaking news, more Afflack!
Starting immediately I will be featuring various Alliance guilds on Etrigg giving a run down of who they are and what they do. As we grow and form relationships this will help give us a better idea about who is cool and who the ass clowns are. I encourage you all to open up a discussion if you have had any interaction with any members of the featured guild. This is for our eyes only.
Todays featured guild is: Attorney At Law

Guild Officers: Solari, Stricken, Lyraa, Rykan, Naldo, Durlas
Active Guild Members: 205 in Feb
Sweet mother, a guild is named Attorney At Law. I see them all the damn time so I figured I would start this new feature of by doing a little research into their organization.
Here is how their recruitment intro reads:
“And let me assure you that you've made an excellent choice. As far as obvious stuff goes, we are Attorney at Law, a new Alliance raiding guild on the new server of Eitrigg. We're constantly growing, which means that we are in search of new members, and if you're here, that means you. If you're interested, don your best suit and your briefcase and inquire within this forum. But first, you might wanna read the rest of this post.”
No we are not going to read the post it’s an abomination to the English language on a whole. Well one more blurb because it’s my favorite:
“More than likely we'll pop you into vent and have some crazy shenanigans that involve broomsticks and pudding. Be prepared for silliness, vulgarity, profanity, and general (controlled) idiocy. We're a fun guild. We're a fun guild that likes to raid and get the OMG EPIXXX. We do NOT like the poopsocking elite, nor do we like drama. If you're still reading, congratulations on not being bored to sleep by me”
Aside from the terrible spelling lets get into what they do. They are a very active raid guild that uses the DKP system for loot; I have also seen many of them in the Battle Grounds. They require that you have CT Raid mod installed as well as requiring you to use ventrilo. From browsing around their boards they seem to have the same type of low brow humor that many of us have. With all the grammatical errors and incomplete sentences it looks more like guild for teenagers. They do have good active numbers, 205 to be exact. The website is a forum board. http://surrealdreams.net/atl/ go bore yourself to sleep.
While I haven’t personally grouped with them, they seem like a decent but weird bunch. I mean they really stick to this lawyer theme more so then need be. Hell, they even have an office in IF that they use as their guild hall, err I mean law office that smells of rich mahogany, so I’ve been told.

Thanks for the info. I've seen them around a bunch (how could I not?) but have never grouped with one.
Looking at their forums, it looks like they may exclude under-18 players: http://surrealdreams.net/atl/viewtopic.php?t=202. That can be a good & a bad thing.

Ya, Ive seen some of their posted apps though and many are under 18, thats not to say they didnt decline them but I get the impression that may not be the case. Either way, they come across very poorly to me with their awful spelling.

We do NOT like the poopsocking elite
uh...poopsocking? definition, please?
Either way, good write up, Ben.

Well done, Ben! I don't have any personal experience with them but I do see them all over the fucking place.
I think poopsocking is when you steal other people's poop and hide it from them.
I find it amazing that even with 200+ members, they couldn't find one who could type an actual sentence. I mean, the lawyer theme is cute and all, but to become a lawyer you have to go to school many years and...you'd probably know how to spell. Just a thought.

My first night on the server they sent me a blind guild invite. Since then I grouped with a couple of their members and they were decent folk, abit young. No bunny hoppers alteast.

Clearly they are a group of clinically depressed fecophiliacs that happen to have a really cool guild name.

Fecophiliac! Awesome word... almost as good as 'slutterific'.
Now about this guild... poopsocking aside, I run, literally run, from any guild that says 'we require..blahblah'. Blah blah is all I hear after the 'we require..' bit. Top it off with poor spelling and you've got a guild only worth joking about, in my honest, yet humble, opinion.
But I have to say this is a FABULOUS write up, Ben! Awesome!

Sherica, you should look at the guild requriements for Eximus. They are poopsockers for sure.
But what about the OMG EPIXXX
Where's the Don, I want my OMG EPIXXX
