Ever been in a group with me only to have me take off every 40 minutes? Tired of hearing me talk about bread? Well, now you can have photos!

We may have to talk some. Getting ready to rebuild the main kitchen (hopefully done by the end of April) with all the nice equipment and want to try my hand at bread making.

Bread making is fun. I'm always happy to talk about it. Or take photos of the result & put them on a web site like a geek.

Mmmmm that is some beautiful bread! I love baking from scratch but since we moved to a place near a market that has artison breads I've been, uhhh, too lazy.
Nothing like stinking up the house with the smell of fresh-baked bread and having them creep around and try to steal some. :)
Have you tried pizza doughs? That seems a little trickier to me. I have been wanting to try this one but it's wayyyy fiddly, even though it promises some out-of-this-world pies:

I never have anyone to geek with about baking.

No pizza dough yet. But I'm about to get a baking stone, which will make pizza making easier. Then we'll do pizza. But there are a few traditinal Neapolitan pizza places near us, so I'm always more than happy to go out for pizza.

Heh, a good pizza place is tough to beat. But yes, go with the pizza stone. I don't make my own dough, but the stone is the only way to cook a pizza. Whether it's a pre-made store bought pizza, or buy the dough and make the rest yourself, the stone really makes a huge difference compared to just a baking pan.
