Sorry if this is a retarded question but can someone either point me to or explain to me the Vault thing? Tidbits like what sorts of things to donate and the policies for usage, things like that. I was talking to someone over the weekend who gave me a rundown which was helpful but difficult to sink in when the text scrolled off-screen. And never really sunk in because I was getting beat up by pirates ATM, anyway.

Having a more solid place to refer to would be great. A forum search isn't turning much up for me that is in the right vein.

There are four vault toons you can send stuff to:
Vsarmory
Vsenchant
Vslibrary
Vsvault

Vsarmory is for stuff you can wear. Vsenchant is for enchanting mats. Vslibrary is for things you can read. Vsvault is for everything else.

I tend to send in any green/blue item that no one takes when I offer it in guild chat. White items can also be good, especially those used in higher-level crafting.

You do have to be logged into RPGO to see the vault. You may also have to be on the RPGO guild roster (Killian manges that, so pester him).

I seriously need to do up a nice "new recruit" letter. I'm a slacker. I know. All of that info (and other goodies) are kept in the VS Eyes Only forum which you will get access to once you're promoted to Sgarrista.

You're welcome to go ahead and send the stuff to VSVault but we don't encourage it for new recruits in case things don't work out. Promotion generally happens 2 weeks after application submission depending on how much time one spends in-game.

Thanks! That makes sense. I don't know why it didn't occur to me that maybe the reason why things seemed so hard to figure out was because I didn't have access to it. ;)

If you're logged on to RPGO, you should be able to see it just fine. No tricks to it, that I know of...

Works fine for me.

Go to one of your character's Profile screens, in the box to the left under "Guild Links" there will be a clicky for "Vault" - between Professions and Item Request.

I USED to be able to see the vault but now I can't...

Before, I would just click on Whedon and be able to look in his bags and bank...

Now all the bag, bank and vault buttons are greyed out to me. Yes, I'm logged into my account.

hmmmm.... I'll re-upload my profiles tonight and double check everything to see if that helps any of you out.

One thing that I've noticed is that merely having an account on rpgoutfitter isn't enough. You MUST have used the add-on and uploaded your own profile. I was not able to view any of the vaults previously, but last night I finally got around to uploading my own profile, and immediately afterwards I could view all four vaults. I don't know if that's a recent change or a bug or what.

Perhaps this is new? I never had the add-on but I was always able to view the vault inventory before. Makes sense that I can't see it now if they have changed it so that you need the add-in.

There ya go. That's probably it.

Ah well....guess I can go without seeing the vault....

I'm not installing any add-ons until my latency issues are one hundred percent resolved.
