Because Linn & Ing are so mean and spent all last night mocking my gear, I went out & dropped some cash in the AH today.

Gone are the 7054, 9454 and 7713. In their place are 9946 (got the Intellect model), 20652 (of Sorcery) and 15276 (of the Eagle).

This should hold me until I can start making mooncloth for my own use.

Now will you guys leave me alone? GOD!

Now we can mock your ponytails instead!
Or your Riverdan... oh, wait.

But seriously, I hope you didn't really feel obligated to get new gear because of it. We really just meant to offer to get you something better if you wanted it. I hope we didn't really make you feel like you were being pressured, because I know I hate that. We have a friend in a raiding guild who told us that the Tier 0 sets 'didn't count,' and I remember I was pretty pissed.

I just never think about it. Then I looked at my gear and saw "Level 33" then I looked at my character and saw "Level 59." Then I said "Hmmmmmn."

So, with the exception of that chest piece, all of the gear is now over 50. Hell, I'm almost 60. Time to start looking like it.

Oh, I still have the shoes. They have my mithril spurs. I'll never throw them away. They are like my ratty old Doctor Who t-shirt I got in 7th grade when I met Sylvester McCoy.

I also met Tom Baker. And Sophie Aldred. And I had dinner with Anthony Ainley, who played the Master.

I will not let you touch me. That's what you get for mocking the shoes. Bwahahahaha!

I always thought Tom Baker was the best one of the bunch. Loved the scarf and I don't think the new Doctor Who on SciFi is even close, miserable capitalist. Nice Duds

I am fond of Tom Baker just because he's the one I saw growing up, but I think my favorite is Seventh because Chess, Eeee!

I haven't watched the new one because I hear they have a romantic thing going on with the Doctor and his Companion, and I am against that on principle. It just isn't done! Companions can have a thing for each other, but leave the Doctor out of it, ARGH!

Dr. Who? pffttt...

I've met the entire cast of the original Star Trek as well as most of TNG and a few Voyager folks.

Course admitting that is basically signing my way into the dork hall of fame....

Forget I posted this.

How did this change from a "I've bought better gear so shaddup" post into a "who've I rubbed elbows with" post? LOL!
erm... I sang with Take 6 at the Edmonds Jazz Camp, traded fours (successfully!) with Janis Siegel at the Green River Jazz Festival, and checked the members of Hootie and the Blowfish into their hotel when I worked at the front desk of the Yakima Holiday Inn... (Hootie was really nice).

Damn. It's depressing when writing a short list like that actually makes you feel a bit better about your day.

Check about 90% of the threads on our forums, they all somehow manage to stray well off the beaten path.

I know a a girl in wolf creek.

She used to be best friends of an ex I had in highschool and the two of them would actually dress up as princesses at house parties. Needless to say they both needed some looking after, after 2 drinks or so.
