I wanted to clear up some questions that I've heard floating around as well as warn anyone thinking of rolling up a Horde character on Kilrogg. Our Dominicide sister guild is significantly different from VS.
A Little History:
Prior to WoW, we were all one guild called The Enlightened and we played AC2, SWG, CoH and AO together. Everyone got along (for the most part) and all was well. When WoW came out, half of us wanted to play Alliance characters and the other half wanted to play Horde. Initially, it was rumored that you couldn't have Horde and Alliance toons on the same server (even on PVE) so we picked different servers and created separate guilds, The Enlightened (Alliance on AD) and The Unenlightened (Horde on Kilrogg). The Enlightened kept their doors mostly shut and did not grow much but we had our tight little group and we had a lot of fun. The Unenlightened recruited greatly and quickly grew to be a nice size guild. The Enlightened was made up of the most casual of the original Enlighteners and found ourselves playing with only 3-5 people on at any given time -- eventually we got lonely and rolled up Horde toons on Kilrogg.
At first everything seemed great but we quickly began clashing with some of the new Unenlightened recruits -- because they were young 1337 retards. The original Unenlightened didn't care for our constant adult themed guild chatter so we were forced to create our own channel where we mostly just made fun of those we despised. By this time The Unenlightened had joined the Silence Alliance and were beginning to raid heavily. The Unenlightened and a guild called Ruin became very close and decided to merge to become a more effective raiding guild; thus Dominicide was born. As the leaderships of the two guilds formed one, The Enlightened began to find themselves in more and more confrontations with the members of the newly formed Dominicide. Finally in one big dramatic shit flinging contest, the majority of The Enlightened left Kilrogg and headed home to Argent Dawn.
To renew our interest in the game we changed our name to Victorious Secret and began looking to build alliances with other guilds so that we could start doing some of the end-game content. Shortly after we began building relationships, we were allowed to move to Eitrigg and only then did we start actively recruiting to grow our family of friends. It is so absolutely fantastic that we have grown to the size we have and still manage to have the perfect MMO utopia guild. I applaud us all.
Dominicide today is all about 40-man raids and farming comps for the 40-man raids. It's not friendly and despite having 30 people online, there's not much conversation or people willing to talk to you. There is little to no help for those that are looking to do anything other than raid. I just wanted to throw this out there so that no one hops over there hoping to find a Horde VS because you won't. In fact, they probably wouldn't even let any new VSers into Dominicide.
Personally, I'd love to play my Horde toons again one day. Perhaps when the expansion comes out, Blizzard will allow us to move our characters around and we can all move our Horde toons to one home. For the Horde!!! ... as long as it doesn't involve Dominicide. :P

That was such a sad, moving story!
In all seriousness, though, thank you for clarifying that. I wasn't sure why there was drama going on between the guilds on here, but now it makes sense. I still don't care for playing horde, but at least now I know that there isn't a utopia on the other side, too.

I wouldn't call Dominicide "not friendly." They are just really, really into their own thing (raiding, getting better stuff) and don't do the guild chatter and helping out that VS does...there are still really cool people over there, though. Some of them, anyway. And we got rid of most of the teen 733t retards awhile back.
Yes, unfortunately there are some cool people over there.

Another downside was they actually sneered at us for our gaming style, which is where the tension began for me. We quickly found out that we are social gamers, where they are competitive gamers. Their version of socializing is 'hey man *uber link epic thingy* see what I got yesterday? LOL!!11'
Personally, I have a lot of anger still from that whole experience, and I am so very glad that you took the time to lay it all out for our new people. I really like the people who have joined us and I absolutely would hate it if they went over there expecting more of 'our style' and getting the bullshit that is Dominicide.

I never seen that thread - well written.
I won't ever apply there anyways. I think the only one I like over there is Zohra, she seems cool. The others like Woof-Bro-Brite & Gretchin the Emo get on my nerves.

Oh. Is this why I can see most of the Dominicide event sign-up threads?
heh. That should be fixed now, Vir.

Baddette is awesome, I forgot about her. She sent me a kickin' sign generator site that is used at least 2x a day.
I love listening to them whine about patches though.
This thread is so much BS. I can personally testify that I rolled a rogue with Dominicide and they power leveled me to 49 then a bunch of their 60's ran me through Sunken Temple repeatedly so I could get phat lewtz for my PvP needs...and I didn't even say "please".
So there...
So there...

Man I am sooo glad you posted this. I was getting ready to transfer my 35 Tauren Druid there just as soon as I could get on to the official forums.
So, is there anywhere that VS people DO play Horde? I've been itching to play my Druid but I want to move him off of Twisting Nether...

Yes, but be warned, only Wednesdays are the *official* VS horde nights. Sometimes we have good turnout, sometimes we don't. Although, I personally have fired up my characters on Ysera at random times and days...so you never know when someone might be on.
