Scumdogs

That’s the intro to today’s featured guild, buckle up. Today we will be featuring the guild Scumdogs. Interesting name indeed, I’m not sure if it was meant to strike fear or perhaps they thought it was a cool name to go with I’m not really sure. I do know that their members post pictures like this on their website:
That’s their theme, what more can I say really?

So what’s this guild all about you ask? Their goals are simple:

“Through superior communication, innovating leadership, and long standing end game experience, we will push to succeed in all ventures, both small, large, personal and communative. We will attempt to keep moving forward towards the goals of our members, and the overall goals of the guild as a whole.”

Sounds like a mission statement for a couple of companies I had worked for in the past. One thing, can anybody tell me what the hell communative means? It sure the hell isn’t a word that I’ve ever seen in any dictionary. Excellent, they are going to move forward towards the goals of their members, looks like I will have some help with passing that kidney stone later on this year. Thanks to Scumdogs we achieved my goal of passing this bothersome kidney stone!

“Scumdogs is an END GAME guild, so if you are not attuned to BWL, Onyxia or Molten Core please attempt to do so. Not being attuned will NOT make you ineligble for recruitment, as we WILL be helping people with thier attunements, so dont be discouraged, we will get you your keys and core fragment”

This about sums it up, we are an end game guild and we cannot afford to take the time to utilize the spell check button.

Similar too many of us it looks like they started in Asherons Call back in 1999 and have gamed ever since. “Scumdogs is a focused and mature, friendship oriented raid guild. We thrive on the togetherness of our members, and the mutual respect we have for the many talents we possess. As a guild we will strive to do our best while showing respect to each other, and to our fellow population of Eitrigg.” One word really sums this up, puke. “We thrive on togetherness” I’m surprised they don’t use Richard Simmons as their mascot.

Scumdogs has 136 active members in their guild. Something that is interesting though is that this guild was formed on feb 14th and they have lost 36 members since that time. The majority of these members were lvl 60 so this only leads me to believe that they really are not as raid uber as they claim to be.

They have an entire list of rules and regulation that you MUST abide including not cursing but this one is by far my favorite.

Dear Scumdogs,

I would like the opportunity to join your raiding guild. I enjoy thriving on the togetherness as I read that you guys do as well. I really have not had much togetherness growing up and being in my line of work people tend to shy away from me. In my work at the county slaughter house where I butcher animals for our local pork store, things can get very lonely. WoW and I have very much in common, in real life I am a 300 skinner and my weapon of choice is an axe, the same as in WoW. I always maintain a mature tone when speaking to the slaughter boss and I have been told that I have a raid mind.

Thank you for taking the time to read my application and listen to my story, I hate to cut this short but the blood drain is clogged with fat again and I need to get in there to clean it up. I look forward to sharing togetherness and time with you in game as well as in real life.
