I'm guessing that Oriole is a bird lover...just caught this one in my brother's back yard:

It's funny that the Oriole is the state bird here but I've never seen one anywhere around there.

Wow! That's a beautiful picture! I've never really seen an oriole in real life, I really just picked the name because I figured it wasn't popular (like sparrow or titmouse) so there was a better chance I'd get it.

There are no oriole's in my neck of the woods but there are house sparrows, song sparrows, chickadees, cardinals, bluejays, goldfinches, coopers hawks, kestrels, house finches, yellow bellied sap suckers, titmouse (titmice?), waxwings, purple finches, red winged blackbirds, canada geese, black ducks, mallards, grackles, starlings, crows, swallows, and of course pigeons (rock doves) and seagulls (ring billed seaguls). Oh! and in the Gatineau you'll find turkey vultures. Just in case your interested. *hee hee*

AND if you're real lucky you might see a great blue heron. :D

Turkey vultures! Those things are fascinating in a scary way. There are some around here but still hard fo find. Don't they poop on their legs when they get hot in the summer, or something? ;D

LOL! I have no idea. I've never seen one up close, just circling at a distance.

Awesome pic. Whenever I try to take a pic of a bird I end up with a photo of their bums as they are flying away.

There may be a niche market for that
