I did a UBRS PUG the other day, all in all not a bad run, except for one guy.
Jericho, warrior from <We Know>, well equipped with at least one piece of Might I noticed when examining him.
1. He liked to pull. As in charge. As when the priest was out of mana, afk, having lag issues, the cat was eating the computer's powercord, his contact lens just popped out, and he was in the next zip code.
2. He liked to tank. The same thing the other warrior was tanking. While the druid was trying to stay alive while in Bear form in healing gear after getting healing aggro. When I'm the one defending the healers, we have some serious interparty issues.
3. He liked to roll. On stuff he didn't need. Like the Ace of Beasts. Nice deck that has a chance of restoring mana. MANA. NEED ROLL. DRUID HAS WHOLE DECK EXCEPT THE ACE. Then he debated it. Pristine Hide of the Beast. NEED ROLL. Ummm, that's a leather and cloth quest only.
4. He like to give advice. That was wrong. "Don't bother with sap, it's weak unless you have improved sap." Uhhh, I have improved sap, that's why I'm still alive. That's why in almost every pull I've sapped and nothing else has moved. You know, the pulls you've been staring at the whole time. "We'll sleep and sheep here." Druid mentions that the dragonkin from here on out can't be slept. We pull, go to next. "Ok, we'll sleep and sheep here" Other Druid mentions these ones can't be slept. We pull, go to next. "sleep and sheep sleep and sheep sleep and sheep" He said it like five times. Druid snaps, runs up, tries to sleep (it fails), nasty pull ensues.

I know, just by sheer chance, not all of <We Know> sucks, but so far all I've seen is them being rude and offensive in General Chat and being tards in groups.

Well, that's pure tardery on his part.

I'm on decent terms with one of their officers. I'll talk to her this evening. If that's ok.

I've taken an interest in this guild and while they have their good points, they certainly have their share of bad points. They appear to have little-to-no central organization. I don't see that there's an application process, or really much in the way of regular guild events (outside of MC and ZG).

Instead of getting apps, it seems they let in just about anyone who says they'll play by We Know's bylaws (http://joiwiki.ito.com/joiwiki/index.cgi?we_know_bylaws). Then after an initation period, the player is sponsored by a full-fledged member & promoted. So the guild can grow pretty qucikly, but a lot of its players may end up being dumbasses who never make it past initiation.

The end result is that grouping with a We Know member may be a crap-shoot.

Interesting bylaws, I've often seen the first two broken. Amusing they discourage having toons in other guilds on the same server. Even better is they ask you to check with an officer.

What's interesting is that there is no such word as "outweights."
