Gil: How awesome, if I weren't going for work, I'd say let's meet up for lunch! My boss has a tendency to micromanage though, so I am sure he will have every second planned out.
Agnes: I have never been there, and I've only been to CA once period (Monterrey, for another work thing), so I'm excited about it. Just sad I won't get to hit the beach too much, because of the aforementioned micromanagement.

ZOMG I used to have soccer tournaments in Huntington Beach.
(We'd totally cream the SoCal Blues, it was because they had to wear revolting lime-green jerseys)

I have lived in CA nearly a year now, and I've been to the beach twice. Both within my first 2 months here. Huntington Beach was one of the ones I went to.

We would get there super-early in the morning when the surfers were just coming out. I would bodyboard all day. I was the color of creamed coffee. And I had a bad perm. But still! Fun.
