So when Drakk drops Shaman gear for the umpteenth time in a row... someone from VS might actually be able to use it!?
NICE.

I was going to do a Draeni Pally. Guess I'll do a Shammy now.

I guess I'm the only one opposed to the idea (Big mythology nerd).

I'm opposed too. It was nice to have each faction have a unique class.
This is guarentee a zillion same-class-same-race characters running around post-expansion...

I'm not a fan of this either.

I'm not a fan of it either. I liked the Horde having the shaman exclusively just as a social thing, because the Horde has the races that are rougher. Not rougher civilization-ey, you understand, but because the Horde is more likely to go, "Hmm, here are the rugged, unpredictable forces of nature. Let us work hard to harness them productively and use them to our advantage, because accomplishing something difficult proves we are HARD CORE."
The Alliance is more the, "This shit is hard, let's build great big machines and/or magical aids so that we won't have to deal with it," side.
Basically, I always felt like the Alliance was like the pilgrims as portrayed in the second Addams Family movie, all, "Truly you ARE as civilized as we! (Except we wear shoes and have last names)," and the Horde was like Wednesday Addams all, "... We will not break bread with you. Ten years from now your people will have motor homes and central air. My people will sell bracelets by the roadside. For these reasons, we have decided to scalp you."
The Draenei are technologically advanced enough to build a SPACESHIP. This, to me, does not say "shaman."
... at least it will end the whining about how *insert encounter* is easier for *insert faction* because they can *insert pally or shaman ability*.

Lore "update" on the WoW site. I like how the Bloofs got to be Pallies. "Hey, this 'light' stuff looks interesting. Let's steal it!" They are like pallies without morals. Sadly, this important distinction won't be relevant in the game.

Not a fan of it either. I think I posted why in General WOW chat boards.
Ah well, instead of millions of NElf Hunters there gonna be million of Dranai Shammy's once expansion hits.

So since the bloofs are addicted to magic... the light is like methodone to them?

and apparently some drainei priest ate some mushrooms in the forest and figured out how to be a shaman.

Yeah, the Draenei lore is lame. "Dude, the wind was talking to me! Man, now my shoes are talking to me!"

There are lots of Pallies without morals, from what I've seen. Arthas being the most obvious, and many players being close seconds... but hey, we're not on a RP server anymore.

From the forums. I thought this was funny. :)
Dr. Peter Venkman: This game is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions.
Mayor: What do you mean, "biblical"?
Dr Ray Stantz: What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor, real wrath-of-Aman'thul type stuff.
Dr. Peter Venkman: Exactly.
Dr Ray Stantz: Pyroblasts and brimstone coming down from the skies. Rivers and seas boiling.
Dr. Egon Spengler: Forty years of corpse camping. Tremor totems, Fear wards...
Winston Zeddemore: Spirit Healers rising from the grave.
Dr. Peter Venkman: Gnomish sacrifice, Paladins and Shamans living together - mass hysteria.

People are shitting out their mouths!!!
I like having each faction having it's own unique thing, but I don't mind the upcoming changes.
What I would RATHER see, instead of both sides having a unique class there were just different abilites on each side. Paladin & Anti-Paladin or Deathknight or whatever. But, Horde isn't evil, even if it's implied.
