Not a problem with me... :)
Let me add that I don't own any Journey, but I have no problem with them. I think that my own music preferences don't meld with much of VS members (case in point, go read the 80's insanity thread). I am on the older side of members (not quite up there with Sky, Slowman and others), but you could call me a hippie freak, even though I didn't start getting into music until the 80's. I do like Journey, and pretty much all music, but my preference is 60's and 70's.

Just a small town girl, livin in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south detroit
He took the midnight train goin anywhere
A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on
Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night
Working hard to get my fill,
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin anything to roll the dice,
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on
No issues with Journey whatsoever.

No problem with me either. Journey ROCKS!
And Zan, if I told you that MY FAVORITE music is Motown, would that surprise you? That I've seen the Four Tops 18 times and the Temptations 12 times?
Part of my process in becoming a drummer was playing along with bands like Zeppelin (of course), CCR, The Doors, The Who, Blood, Sweat, and Tears, Jimi Hendrix, Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, The Doobie Brothers, Steppenwolf, etc.
I love music from all decades. The 80's thread had a life of it's own, but that's not to say that a Sexy 60's or Psycho 70's thread wouldn't take off either... :)

Be good to yourself!
Nobody else will!
Oh, be good to yourself!
You're walkin' a high wire,
Caught in a crossfire!

We just thought it was highly bizarre that your fav band is Journey since you are not 40. It's not a terrible band to like. It's not like Blink 182...*runs*

Rest easy, Shino. It's not like you're listening to something godawful like nobodyknows+ or Styx.

If I remember correctly, the Aqua Teen Hunger Force were the first to discover the sacred belt that could do ANYTHING - but only if you recited what you wanted in Journey lyrics. :D
Ah yes. The Fabulous Journey Belt.
