For a long, long time, the priest roll-call in VS was Gleja... and me. This made my job very easy, and also I got a little complacent, because deep in my heart of hearts I am VERY VERY LAZY. Now, however, there are approximately seventy hojillion priests in various stages of main and alt-itude, and I'm not sure who's a real alt (Zorinda) and who's just dicking around because starshards are pretty (Evely). I also don't know who's geared (Gleja), who maybe is coveting some with the shinies (me), and who wants me to just stfu and leave them alone (Valmarriz).

SO! HELP ME HELP YOU! If you are a priest, let me know:

1) Who are you? Seriously, I am SO BAD WITH NAMES.

2) What level are you? This is important for me to know so I can figure out if you've successfully surpassed the 40-50 dead zone, whether or not you hate your life, and if you're stuck on ZF and ST because the Priest Gods hate us and make you keep going back eleventy million times.

3) What's your ideal spec? For those of you who are new to these parts, this is not a question of ZOMG ONLY HOLY PRIESTS EVAR!!!1 so don't worry your pretty heads about that. Here's a little secret: I am shadow. I am slightly less shadow than I once was because I am addicted to Holy Nova, but I am still a shadow priest. I love shadow priestliness more than is perhaps healthy and/or normal, and I will get rabidly defensive anytime I overhear any permutation of the phrase 'shadow priests can't heal,' because we goddamned well CAN, so EAT MIND FLAY AND LIKE IT, FUCKER. ... er ... where was I? OH YES, SPEC. I ask this because there are many different ways you can play a priest, and many different gear routes you'll want to take because of this. Letting me know what you want to do lets me know what gear I should help you find, what I should stock up on, and the kinds of guides you may want and/or need.

Also, getting a list of all the priests here together means I know who to pounce on if somebody needs a PH for a run. AHAHAHAHA SUCKERS. XD XD

As you well know I am a +Heal oriented priest. There are a few pieces of pre-ZG gear I'm trying to get, but not many.

I am hoping to learn to be a good healer, most of my healing exp comes from playing a Shamman, and this is a very different way of healing. I never know when to throw greater heal, and when it will pull too much agro. So please be gentle on me if you ask me to be a PH on a run...I am young and learning :)

Goals are getting to 60 as quickly as possible. I do not want to level a priest, just have a healbot when needed. Most likely 55+ I will be respecing to holy or possibly discipline.

I just want to play a shadow priest again (had an awesome one on the horde side...). It makes me feel good like I'm eating a plate full of brownies. Goals are to one day pvp and to collect good healing gear so I can heal. Right now I have the goofiest-looking healing pants. And I rule.

Moi? Dunnatossme, lvl 33 priest. Yes I am one of many alts currently residing in Widgetville but I am your vassal none the less. I am currently Disc/holy and plan to stay that way, my wand is my best friend! I am alternating playtime with Xyzzy the warlock and will eventually be 60.

My one burning question is, who elected an evil shadow priest to lead this bunch. I mean really! Seriously though, I plod along doing my thing, I'll sign up for instances and get gear in that fashion. No need to worry about poor Lil ole me.

Pelu. Her partner is Raeb's alt, Dropkickme who is a warrior of the same level. They are a pair that we created because our "together" characters are now 60 and don't really need each other.

2) What level are you?
14. Maybe 15 now? I admit I have been busy trying to get 40 with my druid first because I had some gear waiting for me. But now that's done so I want to level up my priest.

3) What's your ideal spec?
I am currently all Holy and plan on maxing that out, then filling up as much as I can on discipline. I LIKE healing but never really get to do it because my main is a rogue and I solo with all of my other alts. Now that both Raeb and I are more familiar with how WOW works, these are our new toons who we play together because it's just nice to have a toon you play with your SO so you don't have to worry about communication-through-text-and-ventrilo issues. And a priest/warrior combo is pretty nice. Maybe one day we'll be popular enough to fill up all those "LFM need healer and tank plz" calls. :p

Penance - 24 - Shadow Princess. Once Killian is lvl 60 and sporting all epixxx, I plan to turn my attention to her for some lowbie fun.

Yendor 37 Priest all shadow. Someday I will help with the priest needs of the guild, but it's going to be a while.

I guess I should make a note that I too have many alts.. one of which is a priest. :) Valana is all the way up to level 11 now. I made her mostly so I could have one of each class. And because I wanted an alchemist to make all the little bitty potions for my other alts to use while they levelled and not have to bother anyone for the little ones. I don't have any clear direction yet what Valana is going to spec as. As I progress I will try to update this as well.. :)
