HELLO WARLOCKS OF VICTORIOUS SECRET.
Because sometimes Arolaide has good ideas, I would like to figure out which warlocks are which in this guild! And so far, I only know Zan (the badass warlock), Gyb (the nice warlock), and Val (the Valneron warlock). Many new people have shown up, and SOME of them are warlocks, YET I DO NOT KNOW THEM WELL, which makes me sad.
Pls to post here with your current build, your current level, your favorite minion, and what gear you have/would like to get/think I can get for you.
ALSO RECOMMENDED: a short essay on why warlocks are awesome. Please confine your use of the words "totally badass" and "amazing" to once per sentence.

Even though you know me, others may not, so I will begin:
It all started on a small farm in rural Goldshire. My parents always enjoyed summoning a demon or two at bedtime...you know, to help initiate the nightmares. It wasn't long before I was able to control their demons for my own purposes. One night, after being whipped to no end by a Succubus, and then witnessing an Infernal destroy half of the village, I decided that was enough. I was only able to summon an Imp at that point, but with proper planning, I was able to destroy my family and take control of all their power. DO NOT CROSS AN ANGRY WARLOCK!!!
As far as your questions: I still enjoy being Destruction based. I've played around with some different builds, but I always go back to pissing off the healers because of high DPS :)
I have no favorite minion (other than Val's mom), it all depends on the situation.
Gear? Get me some purple's biach!!

Hello, my name is Xyzzy and I am a warlock.
Currently level 46, 31 into Afflicion, cause I like to steal mana from my lady <hint: favorite pet>, with the rest going into destruction till I reach shadowburn.
Gear? I'm a warlock, I don't need your stinkin gear. If it can be feared, it can be killed!

Shadowburn is INDEED VERY CHOICE. You can spam it at things at fifteen-second intervals and they just go around whining about how you're KILLING 'EM REAL BAD and they can't DO anything about it. It's wonderful.
The only trouble is sometimes I forget it takes shards and then I'll check my shard-bag and be all, "holy snot I'm down to eleven shards!" and then I'll have to go to the trouble of farming shards, which is not as fun as just fearing them until they die, tiredly.
Zan's warlork-history story charmed me. I award him 40 dkp.

Maligner 49 warlock, 31 affliction and the rest=demonology.
I'm very pleased with the warlock. As someone that mostly solos, pet classes are nice if they are not designed to be gimped. The warlock seems very nice indeed for soloing.
I do not do essays! But, at a later time, I will post more about little Maligner. Perhaps I should mention that just last night I discovered his comb-over for the first time and was a little disgusted, but I'll have to live with it.

Okay.. I saw this post and totally hoped it said WARLORKS UNTIE! .. but then I read it correctly and it wasn't anywhere near as fun :)
As most of you know (or should anyhow) my main is a warlork. Gybhitsny is big into destruction. I just had to build to see if I could steal aggro off of Frenial. I did... at least once :) Now that I have satisfied that curiosity I am thinking of respeccing again. I am just not sure how just yet. I will let you know when I decide though.

Talent wise, I'm mainly putting points into Affliction and Destruction. Using whatever talents that will cut down on my casting time. Once I hit 40, I'll respec and come looking for my Warlock brothers and sisters for advice.

Level 54 and counting. Anyone else like me want to do the Infernal quest? Seems like it would be better to do a bunch at the same time?
