I have been playing a lot of PvP lately, trying to aquire my high-level set-pieces (by means of gaining honor) and opening up new stuff to buy (by advancing my reputation with the given PvP factions). I notice there are a couple Horde guild's who's specialty is one BG or another, and they just rake in the honor/rep.

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest of having BG-based Events on certain nights for Victorious Secret members. As far as i know, there are not any scheduled events for PvP ( i mean we ARE on a PvE server). And i KNOW there are those of you who enjoy your PvP ^^

The problem with trying to schedule any sort of PvP event is due entirely to the obnoxious queue's on the BG's.
The topic has brought up but really isn't feasible at the moment. Hopefully the cross-realm BG's and the upcoming expansion changes will solve this.

I love doing PvP, but as Ripp stated, the queue's are insane. It's very tough to find a battleground happening that isn't first thing in the morning or late at night. When this server was brand new, the queues weren't bad. You could actually get into 4 or 5 in a row. At one point I actually made the rank of Master Sergent, but now due to the queues and my screwed up play schedule, I've had to drop it. Now I'm a lowly Private. <sniff>

Playing with a guild group is the only way I would ever be interested in PvP. I've had way too many bad experiences of being cussed at and called names by other players. To me, PvP groups of strangers are as unpleasant as pugs.

We were going to plan on PvP Mondays for a while, but queues killed the interest. Let's see what the queues are like after the patch today, and maybe start that up again if they aren't insane.

I would love to do AV (or any PvP, really) with a guild group if we can get into the battleground. <333

yea, i think with the new cross-server bg's the queues will be much shorter.

also, there could be opportunity to do Guild oriented World PvP... though i dont know the details, i assume you will still be able to get honor as usual.

My fingers are crossed that the cross-server BG will alleviate queues as it would be great to gank evil moo cows with more VS members.

I made the push to exalted and now am taking a short AV break. I'm interested in the pvp arenas which are coming. It would be cool to form a pvp team. As for AV, you can't join as a group so it is hit and miss trying to get everyone into the same AV.

I'm always up for some PvP mis-adventures.

Okay, I'm betting the game is all dicked up after the patch yesterday, BUT if we can be on reliably on Monday the 28th I will put out the word for a World PvP or BG team-up on gchat. If I'm not on, someone else surely will, just trying to earn my fat caporegime salary (paid in beads and trinkets). <3

I took Malai into WSG, AB and AV today. Being 53 in those places pretty much equals a death sentence, but it was still fun. AV was a bit too much for me, but AB seemed like good times. I'll try them with Gleja later on. But I'd prefer to take VS groups is there instead of just rolling the dice on my group members.

im glad to see there is intrest. the new patch has don WONDERS for the queue times.

im hoping eventually we can be as great a PvP force as we are a l33t raiderzzz force ^^
maybe even get a few weekly PvP events going.

i havn't been in the guild too terribly long, so i dont really know what peoples' schedules are like. i thought maybe on some of the same nights we do instance raids, we could have a PvP group alternative. but again, im not sure if that would just split our raiding force or if there are enough people that are ON during the time of raids, but just dont WANT to raid.

i suppose one night a week would be the best place to start.

also, since WSG is only 10v10 (and has some nice high-end rewards) we could make up an entire group fairly easily. and with ventrilo on our side, we could run the horde into the ground EVERY time! :)
