Death n Taxes, a guild on Korgoth, recently scored a world first by killing the 4 Horsemen in Naxx. With all 4 wings clear they were the first to try Sapphiron, guardian of Kel'Thuzad.

And they got beat. Hard.

Apparently in their 4 Horsemen attempt *everyone* in the raid was using a flask potion. Lesse, 40 raiders * (1 black lotus per flask + 30 dreamfoil per flask) = holy crap!

Talk about a nasty AOE, holy crap they were dropping like Val,,,,eerrrr Flies.

Someone on their forums mentioned getting hit for 26K.

Given how powerful Sapph is, and how powerful we can extrapolate Kel'Thuzad to be, I think my friend Duro was right in his initial assessment that many guilds will wipe horribly at Illidan's feet until like, Tyrande and Malfurion rise up against him to help you or some shit.

To which I can only say: EEEEEEEEEE.

The staff in that loot shot is scary.

Look closely at their gear in the high quality kill shot of Sapphiron. They're all wearing the frost resistance sets that you can craft by going through Naxxramas (they're made from, among other things, Frozen Runes found in the instance--and the patterns are learned from a man trapped there). It's not that Sapphiron is a softie, it's that they all probably have insane amounts of Frost Resistance. Looked like Sapph is basically melee + frost damage, as everyone expected (considering that most of the craftable pieces had at least 30 Frost Resist on them, and then you can enchant items for even more resists, and then there's Ramaladni's Icy Grasp, which is the FrR equivalent of Malfurion's Signet Ring).

As a side note, my old guild is almost to this point. They're working on the Four Horsemen (the boss before Sapph) atm.

Wow, so someone has finished Naxx. That just blows my mind.
