FYI, I have respec'd Jorack. My build is now 22 Holy / 18 Prot / 11 Ret. This is a balanced build, but still has a holy focus and so is quite different from Jamisia's. The big loss was Holy Shock, so the only way I have to range pull non-undead is my Linken's Boomerang (3 min cooldown). I've heard some pallies also use the Smolderweb Eye which has a 2 min cooldown.

The gains I was after are Benediction (reduction of mana cost for seals/judgements), and the Seal of Command. With my AV weaponry and some armor with +Str/Def, the Seal of Command was alot of fun when Frenial and I tested it out last night. I should be much more versatile now in the non-undead instances but still be able to OH.

So what's your preferred role now?

Not much change from now, but I can try more MT situations if a warrior isn't around and should be ok with OT when needed. I did this for more versatility, and especially for our late night instances. I've been in many runs when I am the only plate wearer, and so I've had to tank. Hopefully I can now hold aggro now in lbrs/DM. Frenial was only getting aggro from me last night when he critted some of his uber fire mage spells.

My respec had very little impact on my healing, so I'm still comfortable with the OH role (and maybe some PH, but I have had very little practice at that) as well and I have been getting more +Heal gear (+193 right now, and upgrades are coming for 3 soulforge pieces soon).

That's pretty much what I have been, only 2 points more in holy and 2 points less in Prot :)

Why should it matter in the least whether you are spec'd differently from me or not? You respec'd for the exact same reasons that I am my own current spec - to be able to tank and hold aggro and do at least some DPS while still healing well.

Besides, 90% of Paladins at lvl 60 are spec'd exactly the same way anyway - almost entirely Holy.

Now I'm totally keeping holy shock because it makes me a special princess snowflake.

Jam, while our relative balance is similar, I was pointing out that I still kept the holy focus and as such there are some big variations in our specs; it is an experiment to see how it works out for me. I know you aren't big on healing, and I still wouldn't mind keeping some of that role. You have more of a focus on Str and Def, while I went with Int and mana cost reduction, but tried to gain some threat generating abilities I didn't have before.

Aren't you an engineer anyway? just throw bombs and stuff to pull.

Aw man! Now I have to re-consider re-speccing too ;-) Nice set of healing-based armor items, btw.

I was thinking the same thing Torrin. Make a stack of low end bombs to pull, why waste a trinket slot?
