Heh all. I wanted to say sorry for bailing on the last two runs. I have been having virus issues on my computer and I couldnt get into game, or even post tonight. I think maybe I have it fixed...crosses fingers.

No need to be sorry. We've all been there at one time or another. Just get everything fixed and get yourself back!

I know you have all been missing my cute gnome in game...but I am happy to say that HOPEFULLY tonight my computer issues will be resloved. I have got rid of the majority of the virus but it still keeps ghosting my programs. So when I open wow, I can hear the noise but not see anything...grrrrr very frustrating. If it does not get fixed tonight Gyb will be home late friday night and he can just damn well stay up and fix my computer so that I can wow again :) So don't shed any more tears I will be back soon !!!!

Oh and thanks for all the idiot updates, I will modify that post as soon as I can. Keep em comming

Wow, if you've got a virus that imbedded, I think it's time to back up the important crap and wipe the drive. Tell Gyb to clean it well! Hope to see you back soon :)

How's it going Afk? Haven't seen you in game for a while. Hope your computer (and you) is ok.

I set up a new computer for her till i have time to fix her old one. Back to Dayton (oh yay) for me again on October 2. How exciting... Two more weeks in boringville and then I might have time to fix her computer properly..... maybe..... :)

Well....I tried again to get in last night and still no luck....computer crashes as soon as I get logged in....so it looks like it will be at least another 2 weeks till Gyb gets home till I can be back....I miss ya all....

Hrm. Have you tried disabling *ALL* of your addons at the character selection screen?

If it's only crashing as soon as you enter the game, then there is a very good chance it's an add-on causing it. Try disabling all of them and see if you can log in.

...and for more tech support that I'm sure you and Gyb have already tried...

Are you having any computer issues other than with WoW? If not, then I agree with Jam! If disabling the add-ons doesn't help, and you haven't done so yet, uninstall WoW and delete the World of Warcraft folder, then reinstall. Yes, it will take a *long* time (I'm in the process of installing WoW on another PC right now, between the install and patching, it's taking all night), but worth a try. Also, make sure all your drivers are up to date, especially the video card. What video card are you using? If you have the most up-to-date video drivers, try to find an earlier version of the drivers...ATI cards are well known for such problems :)

I am pretty sure it has something to do with the Video Card because I am having other issues with the computer. I am just unsure as to how to fix it...so I sit and wait for Gyb to come home. Damn work, who do they think they are taking him away when I need him so I can play wow!!!!

I can't even remember what Smoopsie looked like at this point! You'll just have to log her on and get NAKED. Then we'll make sure she's in the list after some... "testing". Particularly we need to see how well she can use her wand.
