Hey guys,

I have some questions for all the priests out there.

1. Int Vs Spirit: Whats better?
2. +Healing : Is it realy worth it to sacrifice stats for +healing items?
3. +healing or +Int enchantments?

If you guys any tips and tricks for me, please post them :)

1. Varies
2. Sometimes
3. Depends

Honestly, most of these things can go either way. Whatever suits how you want to play. Aro is a big fan of a huge mana pool. I go for +heal gear.

Most of these things don't become a big concern until you hit 60, though. When leveling, I'd say that Int is more important than any healing/spirit bonus. You're going to be solo a lot of the time and you wan't to keep your downtime to a minimum.

But as you get closer to 60, you may want to focus on specific stats that support the way you like to play. So let my try to answer your questions less flippantly

1) Spirit is going to give you quicker regen, and with right talent points it will also boost your +heal. But regen can be boosted with mana regen gear, mana oil and enchants. And, until you get to places like MC and ZG, very few fights last long enough to make regen much of an issue.

I keep an eye out for high spirit items, but it's not my priority. I do keep a very high +spirit staff with me that I can use to boost my regen rate when needed.

2) +heal, once you have enough of it, allows you to cast lower-ranking spells and get the same effect as their higher-rank cousins. In a boss fight I'm usually alternating between Renews (which get the full +heal bonus) and plain old Heal (which gets 86% of my +heal bonus). When things get hairy, I break out Greater Heal (also 86%). Even though my mana pool isn't as large as Aro's, I can cast Heal all day long, because it's so cheap. And each Heal lands for at least 1200 hp, thanks to my +heal bonus.

But when I first hit 60, I went Int crazy and my mana pool was sitting over 7000. This also worked, but I found that I like the +heal game more.

3) This depends on your answer to #2, really. Because +heal gear has less int, I go for a lot of +int and mana regen enchants. But if you already have a ton of int, then +heal enchants are only going to make you more effective.

Oh man this is a tough question. Of the two officer-priests, Gleja is +heal; I am +int. They are *entirely different builds*, and it seriously all depends on what you want to play.

The way I like to play is burst-healing (and also burst-damage, but that's for when my spec leans on the other side of the chart). This means that my gear and enchantments are all aimed toward making very sudden, heavy heals -- my crit chance with a holy spell is something like 9%, which is INSANE. My unbuffed mana pool is around 7200; fully buffed is over 9000, which is also INSANE, and my mana regen with all of the spirit buffs from disc talents is probably something like +40 while casting and about 110 out of cast time. The crazy fucking mana pool helps me because 1) I'm cheap and buying mana potions physically hurts me and 2) I throw shields around like they're candy.

Gleja, on the other hand, is all about the +heal and the renews and the nice laid-back heal over time. It really all depends on how you want to play and what you want to do.

Ok thx, guys.

I'll probably go with Int and +Healing and try not to forget spirit. But spirit i can leave without, since I never solo and I'm almost always with my water pimp friend Milpool tha MAGE :)))

Well thx again.

Cheers,
