I spoke with Jak the other evening to tell of my plans. When I first started my mmorpg history was with a game known as AC2, and one day a kind soul named Enzo_Trioka helped a struggling Ranger ... then over the days He introduced me and offered a place within the comfortable walls of TheEnlightened. Over the months there was much laughter and happiness spent in the company of my guildmates ... despite the vast problems the game had ... ie: the communtications.
Soon people drifted away ... some to go off and play SWG, ... and I started to play Dark Ages of Camelot, where I remained for nearly the next 4 years ... raising to the rank of Guildmistress and Keeper of the Legacy of the Highland Watch. Most of the guild at that time were west coasters ... and just as Lux, Killian, Bjorn, Doob and others were friends in r/l and socialized ... this was true for me with Vol, Solinthey, Elsbeth and Erickk ... they became my guild family.
But soon the ones who had played the game since opening drifted towards WoW ... looking for new challenges ... This past year I found myself growing weary of the same ... and began to look for something new and refreshing ... of course my attention turned to Wow as I knew that the HW family as well as You all were here, and I was happy and excited to be amongst my Enlightened friends once again.
Over the past month or so, I have found myself hunting with my old guildmates, more and more ... falling back into the easy companionship we shared ... and I found myself missing the playful guild banter ... They have asked me to join them, and I have chosen to go.
The friends I have gained in VS, I cherish ... and I will still be in-game ... though now I will run under the banner of Legacy ...
May the winds be at your back, and the hunting bountiful
