For any of you interested, Gyb and I went on a MC pug last night. It appears like they do this every Monday night at 7pm server time. I was very hesitant about going but I though heh what the heck, worst is I get a high repair bill and it is an unpleasant experience. But frankly it was quite the opposite, it was very well organized and was a fun group of people to listen to on Vent. I know they are often looking for more people so if you are interested on a Monday night whisper Menara and tell her Afk sent you.

The guild was Bloodguard, I did a bit of research on them. Of course they use the DKP system but not in their PUG runs, for pugs they do Masterlooter and if it is a BOP item they roll based on class specifics. For example a Priest item drops all priests who don't have the item roll need. All other drops (Core Leather, Dark Iron Ore, Essences, Lava Core ...) they roll on these at the end, people who role highest get an item. I got an Essence of Fire last night because that was what I needed out of what dropped. They designate one person for mining and one for skinning and all items are turned over for rolling on at the end. I noticed they keep a list of who comes on pugs so as to weed out the bad apples.

Anyway to make a long story short...if you want to see the Core and don't mind a PUG this is a good group to run with. I had a very good time, and would go again with them.

I need to be atune for MC first...So who will take me...please...I have been to MC once with a 60 Troll rogue and its a trip and a half. I was not gear for it as I die a bit and got burned up...need fire protection from some of the bosses. Wonder if they would need a wannabe healer??

Sure thing, La la la Lauris still needs to be attuned too, and that's close to the Emperor, so if we made it an Emp run for the folks that need that we could get all manner of things done. :)
