I seriously regret to inform you all that i will not be able to make ANY, yes ANY of the runs i have signed up for lately, as my account has been (seemingly permanently) banned.

I got smacked in the face with the "ban stick" Tuesday the 14th (yesterday) for "using unauthorized third-party software." However, in my own defense, i had not used the program at all with Eyeshark. I never even downloaded it until after he was well into level 60. I got this program because it looked like an amazing piece of software (which it was) and i am just into that shit. I only used it because of my natural curiosity to see what it could do, not really for any gain, and only on a lowbie alt of mine. But i knew risks were involved. That is probably one of the reasons i stopped using it after only a short time, because i did not want to risk my baby... my main man i worked so hard to progress in both levels and, sadly, PvP ranks.

I got smacked with this ban the very same day i finally reached rank 10, even had to time buy my shoulders and helm (and by this time i had months since stopped using this program).

I am telling you all this not knowing any of your stances on the whole matter. I just feel that it is appropriate for me to "come clean" so to speak of why Eyeshark dropped off the face of the World of Warcraft on Tuesday, November 14th.

I really hope that something like this does not strike a nerve with anyone (other than myself). Because if i cannot successfully plead my case to blizzard to recover my precious account, i will probably start from scratch, and on Eitrigg.

There is no other guild i would rather blast through The Burning Crusade with and i hope that when i make a new baby account that i am still welcome among the ranks of some of the finest assholes and sluts i have ever had the pleasure of playing an MMO with: then men and women (and other) of Victorious Secret.

Now it seems i have some leveling ahead of me to hit 60 before the expansion...

I don't really have a problem with macroing, if it's attended. Leaving it running mindlessly while you are out actually having a life is wrong! I don't think that was your case though.

It was WoW Glider. Basically this program would simulate input from the keyboard and mouse instead of manipulating the actual game itself. really a very neat program, though not at all worth the trouble. ><

agreed. hopefully i will be able to get by with only a temporary suspension. but from what i read on the forums its not likely. Apparently blizz just found some sort of signature of use in their back-logs and was just building up till they could hit everyone at once. i read about lots of people who had 2 separate accounts and had both banned yesterday even though they only used glider on one. They probably just searched everyone's system directories.

I used a bot program in AC2 to set up a healer in our Allegience hall. He accepted donations that were dropped in front of him and I would occasionally come home at night to find that he had snagged all the stuff that some poor sucker had drop-muled too close to him.
