Those photos totally appealed to my need for control. So many squares and equal measures! I loved them!

As she said in some of the captions, we went up 17 stories (well, she did, I stopped a few stories short... not the most comfortable with being able to see straight down with just some bars to hold me up... planes, no problem, sky scrapers, no problem. Ladder? Scaffolding? Yeah, not so happy making).

Anyway, we spent about 6 hours wandering around the abandoned plant. Was a blast.

Man those pictures bring back some memories. I used to deliver mail on the south side of Bethlehem in the 70s up until 1979 when I became what was called a floater, you only had 5 routes (the same ones) to do each week. There was one mail route that took you thru the plant delivering mail to different offices. That picture from the tower is amazing.
