Hey there VSers!
I'm hearing voices of concern for our much loved Victorious Secret. Yes, things are starting to stagnate, yes, people have gone /afk until TBC, yes, we have a definite separation within the guild between those who are very pro-raiding and those that are very much anti-raiding. The thing we all have to look at is come TBC, raiding as all of the raiding guilds out there know it is going away. The smaller, better organized, guilds that are more like family than just a bunch of people using each other to gain phat lewt are going to be the ones kicking ass and having fun. I forsee many of these big raiding guilds tearing themselves apart.
In the meantime, we are going to continue doing what we've always done -- mix it up. Two nights a week, we will raid and I promise we'll start doing something other than just ZG every week. I know we're all growing a little bit tired of it. The other nights of the week we'll keep running those much loved 5 and 10 mans to help our up and coming 60s as best we can. If any of you have a particular quest series that is giving you a hard time, PLEASE, post on the boards and organize a group. It works so much better than just hopping in-game and looking for helpers in /g chat since people log in and get involved in other things.
Also, to help with morale until TBC, we'll be doing some sort of crazy VS event once every two weeks to help pass the time until January 16th. I promise fun times.
As for our current man shortage, recruitment is open and we are casually looking for fun VS type people but we do not have any plans to openly recruit in-game or on the official Eitrigg boards. If you all do come across someone who you think would be a good fit, feel free to send them to the site and have them fill out an app. We're a great guild and quite capable of outstanding feats, we just have to keep being who we are.
The Victorious Secret: It's just a game.
Who we are:
VS is a small (but growing) group of close friends who have come together through years of online gaming and are heavily endowed with the gift of gab.
VS is not a raiding guild. We do organized instance runs a few times a week and others on the fly but no one is required to attend and we definitely do not take the raids too seriously. If you're wanting to do "guild managed MC runs", you're not going to find them here. When doing instances/raids we want to have fun!!! We don't want anyone getting pissy over wipes. We're all smart people and we're expected to play well but accidents happen, don't let them get your panties in a wad.
The members of VS are all close friends through gaming and are very comfortable with one another. Guild chat can get very offensive to an outsider looking in so you can't be easily offended (at all). It's all in good fun and trust me, we're a lot of fun.
VS does not tolerate "uberism" and by uberism I mean a behavior where someone thinks they know everything about the game and just how everyone should play it. We don't care. It's a game. Let us play how we want to play. We appreciate opinions when asked for them but we never want to be berated if we're trying to do something different.

Please note that Killian is BEGGING here for you to set up a group if you need something. PLEASE DO IT.
I swear by Holy Aessell's Platinum Panties that a swarm of vicious killer bees will NOT invade your ass when you do this. Seriously. SWEAR.
Most of us are more than willing to help, but we have to have advance notice, not always even because we log on and get into something else... sometimes, if nothing is going on, we just don't log on. Books to read, boyfriends to see, ZELDA TO PLAY, you know how it is.
Oh Link. Did you miss me? I missed YOU. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I also want to reiterate to everyone that with TBC anti-raid/pro-raid will no longer be an issue at all. We will be tackling all of the content and having a blast doing it!!!
I encourage everyone to RTMMF and plan stuff if they need it. And to sign up for raids even if you have no idea what you are doing and just want to stand there and press "attack" over and over again.

Is anyone sick of running ZF with me yet? I've got the next four days off, and you can bet I'll be there. At least until that &*@^!@#! sword drops.
Brendar, I have yet to take you through ZF so I will help you whenever I can!

Fox ruined me yesterday. I guess that sword has only a 2% drop rate. I've done ZF 22 times now, that means I'm about halfway to getting it, right? I never liked math...
On the other hand, I can now do runs on that boss in under 7 minutes.
