I've spoken with Lemmon of <I Need a Life> and they're very interested in partnering with VS to help each other fill raids. I've spoken with their GM, Lemmon, and he seems like a super nice guy. I will be keeping an eye out on their boards and when I see a raid come up that doesn't conflict with any of our events then I will put up a post on OUR forum asking for anyone who wants to go. Once I get roughly 10 people (depending on how many they have registered), I will go to their site and sign us all up at once so we don't have to register on 2 sites. In addition, I'm thinking we'll try a couple of these 40-mans in these last days of their existence just so that we can say we tried them all. I will put a post up on their site to help fill our open slots. I'm very excited about this. Even though we'll probably only be able to put one or two of these big raids together, it will give us something different to do while we wait for TBC.

I will also be setting up an alliance chat channel that I will share with you all very soon to help everyone get to know each other and to have an extra source to pull from for PuGs.

Raiding alliance with other guilds is cool but I'd still like to keep our other stuff in-house. Maintain our identity and not have it turn out like the Silence Alliance where their tards infiltrate our boards with their endless shit.

We can still always have an ice cream social with the other guild, each of us nervously lined up on opposite walls and not wanting to be the first one on the dance floor.

I wouldn't be opposed to doing that later for those of us who are interested in raiding, I just think guild events are better left for the guild, as a good opportunity for us to hang with each other. :)

I'd really prefer to keep VS events VS-only. I've seen too many guilds either merge or fall apart after getting into alliance situations. And, well, I'd like VS to be VS.

Do not worry. We won't be inviting the other kids to play naked with us.
