I'm playing with some specs for the upcoming patch. I had planned on going 23/28/0 so that I could take advantage of the new Improved Prayer of Spirit. But then Aro said she was going to go all-Disc after the patch.

Figuring there was no reason to have 2 discipline priests, I tried out a heavy Holy build. 11/40/0. I even took lightwell, which is supposed to be less horrible now.

This is the hotness. Greater Heal crits for 4100 and hits normally for between 2700 and 2800. And this is on PTR, where my gear is a bit behind what I have on Live. With the spirit buffs that Aro will be able to give and we'll be an unstoppable healing force.

Yes. I will be 41/10 after the patch; the last ten points to be distributed will PROBABLY put me 41/20 at 70, maybe 41/10/10, maybe 51/10. We'll see.

Well, I figured Circle of Healing would suck, but I tried it out anyway.

It sucks. And I don't get the point.

500 mana for a 420 point heal that gets a tiny % of your +Heal boost. It can crit for about 700 hp. It doesn't proc the priest's clearcast. Yes it heals the whole party and it's instant, but how often does your entire party need just 500 hp healed? Why not just cast PoH and heal them for 1300 hp?

It's a total panic button spell. Skippable.

Really? That makes a difference. The tool tip just said "party" so I figured it worked like PoH. Yes, PoH should be targetable.

If I put on the +Heal gear, and get Aro's sexy spirit buff, I hit 600 +Heal.

With 3 priests in a raid, we should be able to stack renews for about 800 a tick. Whee.
