Thoughts, comments, concerns?

I want to hear from you all because I want to make sure that these things stay fun and engaging.

I think that there are some definite personality clashes.

Viraj, as always, puts things the nice way.

I know. I mean, we have at least one thread dedicated to it. I don't want to dismiss your point Viraj, because those conflicts do affect your enjoyment of the raid. But I guess I was looking for comments on the actual raid itself. Like "The way you assign targets suck." or "How about doing the Spider boss this way."

Also, I'm planning a "no alliance" ZG run next week. So watch the skies.

The problem is that, from our experience, roughly 1/2 of the Lifers are good fits for us, and 1/2 are NOT. Since this is a general discussion for VS only, I'm going to be blunt.

Angelia = Biggest Problem, IMHO. She's a fucking bitch. Plain and simple, she's a BITCH, even when she's not trying to tell people she is offended if they say "God Damnit". She's all about the loot, whines when what SHE wants doesn't drop, and basically whines any other time. Worse, for the first half or so of the raid (Bat & Snake in particular) I really didn't see her doing shit, and only towards the very end did I see her REALLY using her mana to heal everyone and bother rezzing VS'ers.

Chuck = Sort of a problem? He is a nice guy, he just comes across as an idiot, and he rarely pays attention so you end up having to repeat yourself twice for him.

Eleria = makes Chuck look like a rocket scientist. I mean really, she's not rocking with all of her marbles, or even half of them for that matter.

As to the others, Lemmon was, as usual, a lot of fun all in all (though I'm not sure how seriously upset he was about the Zulian Tiger mount - I think he was just kidding around, but he did /spit on Viraj when she won). Slim is always fun - quiet, but a good tank and a fun guy all around. It was the first time I'd seen Ziq in there before, but he seemed a pretty nice guy and not a bad Healadin - he was healing and rezzing all of us.

As to the run ITSELF, setting aside the server reboot I think we did well - once we really got our game faces on, we had no wipes and cleared 4/5 of the priests, all of them on the first try. We had a fair number of deaths in all of them, so we were somewhat sloppier than normal IMHO, but all in all we got the job done and that's what counts.

And one more note for those who were online but NOT in the raid - I know there has been some who have felt left out because we weren't elaborating on guild chat, just making occasional comments here and there. I'm hoping we did better tonight :) linking loot, chatting, etc.

OK, Calli and I had alot of fun, we were laughing a ton over some of the comments. First problem I had was I didnt know what symbol my target was going to be, I had gone out of the instance to help port someone to the entrance and missed that post. I did figure it out (scroll up is a nice thing :) ). So maybe checking to make sure everyone knows their symbol for sheeping/pigging etc before the fight starts.

I will agree with what Jam says and leave it at that. We were laughing after Eleria showed up. She sounded like someone who had escaped the short bus on vent, kept wiping tears from laughing so much. I swear she would make a great bride for Valneron. ;)

I would say that the raid talk in guild chat was definitely more funner than in the first few Lifer raids. There were only maybe two times that led to people being like "OMG so what is going on now? 'Cause whatever it is sounds super interesting." One time someone (me) asked and got an answer (Angelina or whatever her name is was being a hobag). The other time someone (not me) asked and didn't get an answer.

When something annoys me (as I'm sure most of you have figured out by now) I'm happy to go on and on about the subject at length, it's just that until last night nothing had happened which bothered ME, a great deal, in specific.

But as I said in guild chat, it really irritates me when people think I shouldn't speak on a subject, for example, healing, because I'm not at that moment playing a healer. I know how to play a healer, thanks. No, Eulalie and Demetriana don't have as much /played as Eulalia, but I've played them both--especially Eulalie, who is a 60 priest and has been to ZG, plenty. Not directed at any of you--that's just what I was thinking in the heat of last night's moment, but refrained from going into deeply out of respect of Gleja asking me not to do so.

And even if I DIDN'T, it doesn't take a brill player to know, through simple application of LOGIC, that meters are 90 percent fucking useless. Christ the jesus.
