Hello fellow tailors,

In preparation for TBC, I've been stockpiling all my mooncloth. My thought was that I'd need it to level up my tailoring past 300. This appears to not be true. Here are the first patterns you'll learn from the trainer in Hellfire Peninsula.

It's all Netherweave cloth. No mooncloth in sight. Eventually you'll need Primal Mooncloth, but this does not require mooncloth to make: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=21845

So far I don't see mooncloth being used at all in the expansion. So sell it now!

Yeah, and netherweave drops like candy from the surrounding Orc communities in Hellfire Peninsula.

I thought the professions were only going to go to 350?

The first trainer in Hellfire gives you the ability to learn up to 375. Later you pick a tailoring specialization: Mooncloth (which only uses primal mooncloth, not the regular mooncloth), Spellfire or Shadoweave.

Mooncloth tailors make good healing gear, Spellfire tailors make good mage gear, Shadoweave tailors make good warlock/shadow priest gear. I believe all of their gear is BoP stuff, so you can only use it to make armor for yourself. But I may be wrong about that.

Here are some patterns available to Mooncloth tailors. These patterns are all sold by a vendor as of right now. All of these items are BoP, so you won't be able to auction them. sad.

Primal Mooncloth Belt (77 +heal, 9 mp5)

Those are a set. If you wear all three, you get 5% mana regen while casting.

Looks like shadoweave is actually for Shadow & Frost. So mages will have to choose between spellfire and shadoweave. Warlocks will have it easy, as always.

Me too. But I'm sad that none of those pieces have Int or Spirit on them. For epics, they have very few stat bonuses. Still, sexy.
