Could any of the higher level look at Shadian's build and give me any advice? I tried balance when I hit 40 to try Moonkin, and am now ready to go back feral. How does this look?

If you use cat most of the time then that build seems pretty effecient.

I would advise you to grab Faerie Fire (Feral) if you stay in cat or bear form all the time.
Especially if you solo a lot.

This route would probably give a much larger DPS boost and making solo'ing more efficient:

Big thing here is Ferocity is a must for keeping DPS up along with Leader of the pack (more crit = sustained energy/rage). After this I would debate getting Omen of Clarity or gunning for Mangle. In my mind mangle wins :)
Also, Shredding attacks will show no real benefit until you pick up Maim and Lacerate post 60. In a 1v1 fight you will often find yourself facing the mob unable to shred. By the time you get to Maim/Lacerate you will also have the points to spend.

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't even consider the waste of points in Shred at this level. I don't really ever use it so that was excellent advice. I can't even imagine how often he'll crit with the build you posted. I'll test it out tonight and let you know how I like it.

For soloing in cat form, Faerie Fire (Feral) is kinda optional. If you are grouping in bear form, I view it as quite helpful for helping with aggro management (one of those every bit helps type things). Furor is also quite handy for tanking, as it means you can shift right into bear form, then charge.
Anyways, for soloing around, either build should be fine, but makan's should help your crit rate. And, ultimately, Mangle FTW. You really won't get much of chance to Shred in one on one fights.
