EFF lambastes Blizzard for their 'anti-cheating system'.

Oh, damn, that's really old. Someone at work just sent me this article. Has anyone heard anything more recent about this? I only care on a principle level, as I assume that whenever I have a non-trusted connection like this with a server they are snooping around on my machine (too much time working in basements for three letter agencies).
