just deleted my wow folder and about to reinstall it all. Get some damn errors and when I run the repair they are like "to many files to possibly fix. reinstall it you lamer" Not exactly but to the point.
will have to play on my crappy laptop for now :-(

I reinstalled it the other day, patching wasn't bad at all.

reinstall and reboot didn't fix it :-(
edit: i just right clicked. hit run as administrator and it works fine now. This makes no sense. I am an admin on this machine

Yep - with Vista (which is what I'm running too), if you install to the default folder in C:\Program Files, then you MUST select Run as Administrator, otherwise the app does not allow write permissions to much of anything inside of Program Files.
One thing that I took away from the official forums was that the blues recommended you install WoW to a DIFFERENT directory to be on the safe side in Vista. I made C:\Games and installed it there, as C:\Games\World of Warcraft, and it's run fine ever since.

Cool. thanks. It was so weird because it was working fine since I had Vista. It was even working fine while I was playing. The problem started happening when I was going from SW to IF on the tram. I got off and tried to go through the portal and it crashed. I will change that tonight. Thank you very much.
