Just to let everyone know that I have made a new site account using my main's name (much to Lux's dismay). So if you need to shoot me a PM or anything this will be the name to use.

I'm sorry. My intentions were to cut down on confusion:( I just thought it'd be better if the character folks were talking to in-game was the same name they talk to on the forums.

It helps a bit, but there are so many folks with so many alts that you really can't guarantee that the forum name will match up to someone's expectations in game. That's why there's the guild listing notes for each toon to say what the forum name of that person is. And if you want a way to let people reference in game toons from the forums, you could list your toons in your sig.

Shadian I was totally teasing you about the confusion part. And I don't think you did anything wrong. If you want to use Shadian as your forum name, you should use Shadian!

As for others, I really don't see many people following suit, because, as Frenial mentioned, some people have many many alts and there is no way to match their forum name to their toon name. And then there are others who have forum names that do not match any toon... i.e. Lux, Torrin

So don't worry... be happy. :D

It's true. I am evil. I knew it would have been easy to do. I just didn't want every single person on the forums to be all like "WELL NOW I WANT MY FORUM NAME TO BE FRAKKALAKKA!!" Because that would cause mass confusion, PLUS I'd have to change everyone's guild notes in-game. Pain.
